Very classy and hip place to stay. Great lounge/bar and restaurant . Excellent location to walk around Asbury Park
I attended a wedding St Laurent including an overnight stay. The property is beautiful. Rooms were clean spacious and comfortable. The bar and restaurant we're perfect and I cannot say enough about the staff. We will be returning here in the future.
Good place. Definitely coming back.
What a quaint sophisticated Boutique Hotel...the restaurant is phenomenal. The bar area super cute and the pool makes you feel like you are in Hamptons beach party. The pool staff isn't very friendly they had the look on their face like why are you talking to me which is unfortunate. The amount I paid to stay in NJ i was hoping and expecting more. Unfortunately they are kids and as most can attest too they just dont really care.
great hotel with beautiful pool area. food and drinks was great. only thing I would change is the bed.
we had a very enjoyable and pleasant experience. The staff was very accommodating in the service was exceptional.
I left my shirt in the rooms closet went back for it an hour later and it was not found
It’s a cute place. Comfy beds. Pool closes too early. No ice machines. No in room coffee. Front desk closes early and then there is no staff person around at all. Not sure I understood the self service concept. But let’s have the pool and bar open.
Worth the money the rooms and pool were so nice! Didn’t eat at the restaurant or spend time at the bar because it was a short treat but loved hanging by the pool on the check in day. Staff was very kind and accommodating too!
Cool, hip hotel. Food is excellent. Service is fast. Rooms clean. Takes a bit of pushing to get a good seat by the pool (members get priority over hotel guests).
I’ve visited before just to use the pool for the day but this time I stayed overnight for a mini getaway. Check in and check out were seamless. It was difficult finding parking but later in the day when the pool closed I was able to move my car right in front. Pool was great, service was quick, food served was delicious however besides wine and beer there were only 3 choices for cocktail. I would have preferred more choices than an aperol spritz, margarita or lemonade. The room was clean and decor was simple and modern, bed was super comfortable, bathroom was Small but loved the shower. Judy’s restaurant food and service were a 10. Lounge was great for after dinner drinks and relaxing. I do wish there was a changing room for transitioning after the pool closes. There is no breakfast. I really thinks it’s important to offer a little something like a continental breakfast; something simple like bananas, muffins, croissant, danish would suffice but not to offer anything at all was disappointing; especially since the pool doesn’t open for food service til 11am and we didnt want to risk going out and losing our parking spot. Overall it was an excellent stay and I will certainly be back in the future.
The Pool was absolutely disgusting, the water was full of dirt, bugs, body oils and lotions, clearly the filter wasn't working properly and not enough chlorine. guest rooms are very noisy, hard to sleep.
The Air conditioning in the room are awful, the rooms do not get cold enough.
great service at judys, food was mediocre at best! Wont be returning to this establishmen
Cool spot to chill poolside. Great restaurant and bar.
Had a great stay at The St. Laurent, it could be excellent but needs a few improvements. They really make the most out of every inch of this property! Rooms were nice, clean with everything you needed. They even provided Sunflow beach chairs in your closet. Almost didn't book because of the murphy bed but it was actually quite comfortable. The pool area is great and the staff there were very nice but the pool closes at 5:00. I understand the restaurant is right there, but at the very least they need to close the bar early and allow people to sit after the beach. We only got to enjoy it for 40 minutes before they kicked us out.
The front porch (maybe put a curtain up to cover the extra signs and chairs you're storing on the side) and lounge were great spaces but service was slow and rude. Bartender was annoyed with us the minute we asked for a drink, even after we complimented her on the drinks she was still dismissive and this was on a relatively quiet Sunday night. The food in the restaurant (Judy's) is excellent, chicken savoy and chicken parm were the best I've ever had! People complained about parking but we had no issues at all finding a spot right on the street. Overall happy with our choice and would return!
Check in and out was super easy. The room and bathroom were beautiful
The location is very good. The bar and restaurant were very good. The pool was a bit overcrowded based upon club members and people with $65 per day passes to use the pool. The pulsating music all day long got to be annoying. For a place you pay about $700 per night, there is no parking. You have to carry all of your luggage up and down a narrow old staircase. The room walls are paper thin and very small. A few young women were in the next room and talking loud and laughing until 2am. I had to text the invisible staff so they could text the other guests. The pool is only open 10 am to 5pm in the middle of summer. They have a coffee bar but no milk or cream or sweetener. The pool towels are very thin and cheap. You can check in early or check out late for an additional 50 bucks or more. I had a good time and the on-site staff works hard but is not empowered to improve your stay.
Hotel was easy to access; room was nice and clean. Our room was on the same side as their recycling, so it was a bit noisy with bottles being dumped various times throughout the night, despite being on the top floor. It is clear the staff are new and they are working out kinks - for example the front desk gave us a free drink pass that no one at the hotel knew how to use. It’s very confusing the division of the different businesses within the building, between Harry’s, Judy’s, the pool and hotel. Pool was a bit frustrating as is was very empty most days we were there but there were reserved signs on all the seats. Members have more opportunities over hotel guests, like the ability to reserve a pool seat through late afternoon, which was off putting considering what we paid to say there.
