Well located, nice 5 star service hotel. Food was nice. Staff very helpful.
Many things to do like pools, padel, spa, shopping close by.

Leider haben wir nicht auf die vielen schlechten Bewertungen der anderen Gäste geachtet und trotzdem dieses Hotel gebucht. Das Personal bis auf eine Rezeptionsmitarbeiterin war durchgehend frech und unhöflich. Ein NoGo in der Hotellerie!
Null Service . Da unser Flug am nächsten Tag ziemlich früh war, baten wir 2x darum, uns Lunchpakete bereit zu stellen. Unsere gebuchte Zimmerrate war inklusive Frühstück. Am Abreisetag waren dann keine Lunchpakete für uns vorbereitet.
Die Sauberkeit im Hotel ist unter dem Niveau eines Sternehotels. Mein Sohn hat nach dem Baden im Thermalbad einen Ausschlag bekommen.
Das Zimmer war ok, das Bett auch . Das Badezimmer leider schmutzig Das Frühstückspersonal total lustlos und unhöflich. Patzige Antworten bei einer einfachen Frage wegen der Milch. Dieses Hotel werden wir nicht mehr buchen und auch nicht weiterempfehlen.

I am writing this review so that future couples can get a realistic picture of what to expect if they decide to organize their wedding at Hotel Hills. Had I known then what I know now, I would never have chosen this place for the most important day of my life.

👉 Food & Service – Far Below Standard

Dinner was served cold and in waves – half the guests were eating while the other half were still waiting. The soup, which was supposed to be a proper starter, was reduced to just a few spoonfuls. Drinks, advertised as “unlimited,” often took up to 30 minutes to arrive, and some guests never received theirs at all.
The mezze plate was a joke – three slices of dry meat and three pieces of cheese. Either they were cutting costs or this is their actual “standard,” but in no way is it worthy of a hotel claiming five stars. Overall, the food was tasteless, cold, and poorly presented. The only decent part was the cake.

👉 Organization – Complete Chaos

On the wedding day, instead of enjoying the moment, I was called down to fix the seating plan because the hotel staff had rearranged it without asking. They had placed the parents of both the bride and groom in random corners of the hall. Had I not intervened, our families would have been scattered all over the place.

👉 Conditions in the Hall
The hall was freezing cold. Guests literally asked for blankets, which is something that should never happen in a so-called luxury hotel.

👉 Hotel & Accommodation
International guests, including those who traveled from Norway, arrived to find their rooms not ready. In some cases, they even walked into rooms that looked like they were already occupied, with personal belongings scattered around. When they complained, the reception staff told them they were “lying” and to go check again themselves. Absolutely unacceptable behavior for a hotel that promotes itself as five-star. Needless to say, these guests made it clear they would never return.

👉 Final Impression
My wedding at Hotel Hills was marked by unprofessional staff, poor service, and total disorganization. I am not writing this expecting the hotel to improve – I doubt it will. I am writing so at least one future couple might read this and avoid making the same mistake. Sarajevo and the surrounding area offer many beautiful venues for weddings, and if I could choose again, Hotel Hills would definitely not be an option.

The entire concept of this hotel falls far below what is advertised. Walking through the hallways you’ll even find shoes lined up outside rooms – something you’d expect in a hostel, not in a supposed five-star hotel.
And lastly, the management deserves a mention. Ms. Mirha, in particular, left us with the impression that she simply does not care about weddings at all.

Die Zimmer sind auf dem ersten blick super, aber bei genauem betrachten sah man dass das Hotel schon etwas "älter" ist. Gebrauchsspuren an ziemlich allem sind zu sehn. Grundsätzlich hat mich das nicht gestört da ich über solche Sachen hinweg sehe, jedoch ist der Abdluftventilator im Bad (geht gleich an sobald man im Bad das Licht an hat) sehr störend laut, aber das schlimmste kamm erst nach der ersten Nacht. Wir hatten auf der Ablagefläche im Zimmer über die Nacht etwas essen/überreste vom Essen liegen gehabt, die dann eine Armee von Ameisen anzog und die dann im Zimmer blieben, und erst nach wiederholtem beschweren bei der Rezeption wurde uns erst ein neues Zimmer gegeben. Ich Persönlich finde es eine frecheit diesem Hotel 5 Sterne zu geben und vor allem bei dem Preis den mal zahlt (man zahlt in Sarajevo im zentrum einen besseren Preis für ein besseres Hotel.)

The friendly staff, the perfect location and the spotless clean rooms made our stay very enjoyable. Particularly the front desk manager was very helpful in giving us advices about hidden gems to discover. She made the difference. Thank you.

I have been with my family for 5 days, the rooms are dirty, they don’t bother them selfs cleaning them!
Don’t you ever think to stay in that dirty hotel!

This place is perfect! Kids love the water slides and splash pads. Easy to enjoy Sarajevo from here. Staff was great.

One of the best hotels in Sarajevo, especially if you have children due to the number of pools. I can't believe some of the negative reviews others have posted, I can only assume they've not travelled much . The hotel is perhaps not of the extravagant level of Dubai or some of the 5 star hotels in Turkey but it is better than most of the hotels in the UK. Be assured this is a very good hotel in a beautiful setting with tons of on site facilities. It's close to the airport, and the tram stop to the Old Town is quite close. There's shops and restaurants inside and nearby. Bosnia is fast developing for tourism and things are really taking off in this country.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Super freundliches Personal. Saubere und sehr großzügige Zimmer mit Balkon. Große Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet.
Das Hotel befindet sich in einem ruhigen Stadtteil ist aber dennoch sehr zentral gelegen.
Nur zu empfehlen und ich würde es selbst auch immer wieder buchen.

the rooms are ok, the cleanliness of the pool can't be worse, it's not worth that money, never again

The overall experience was underwhelming. The location is convenient, especially for travelers needing quick access to the airport. The room was spacious, which was a pleasant surprise, and the staff were friendly and efficient both check-in and check-out were smooth.

But unfortunately, the room was not very clean, which took away from the comfort of the stay. The furniture was noticeably outdated and in need of refurbishment. The lobby also lacked warmth and felt more like a public shopping space than a traditional hotel entrance.

There was a kettle in the room but no complimentary water.

There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, if you want to eat out or explore local dining options.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Sarajevo. Its prime location just a short drive to the airport made catching an early flight incredibly convenient. The hotel room was exceptional—spacious, modern, and featured a lovely balcony where we could relax and enjoy the views. The overall experience was comfortable and hassle-free, thanks to the excellent amenities and friendly staff.

The room very old and no look for bathtub and breakfast is very bad no options but the reception team very helpful very nice

I had a comfortable stay at Hotel Hills Sarajevo, and I'm surprised by some of the reviews which to me appear to be hurtful. It's natural for people to have different expectations and standards, but some guests appear to be overly criticizing the hotel & its staff instead of raising points of concerns for improvement.

Here's my own experience at Hotel Hills Sarajevo:
1. The hotel staff were professional, helpful, and courteous. Guests could easily and directly speak to the hotel staff if they had concerns or if they required assistance.
2. The reception/front desk provided currency exchange services.
3. The room was spacious and clean, there's a safe, toiletries and clean towels were available/restocked every day unless guests indicate not to be disturbed sign. The beds however are really high, which could be an issue for seniors/elderly or kids or people with health issues.
4. I only had breakfast at the hotel, the restaurant on the ground floor was spacious, with an abundant buffet that includes a wide variety of dishes/drinks/deserts/fruits, which could cater to all tastes.
5. There's a small souvenir and gift shop on the ground floor, near the reception/front desk, with reasonable prices and amiable staff.
6. There are on-site amenities facilities, however I did not use them.
7. The Hotel's location in my opinion is good.
8. I'm a non-smoker, I didn't have any issues in terms of smoking, guests were smoking outside the hotel.

When i make reservations for a 5 star hotel i have certain expectations. They were not met in this hotel. The biggest issue is that the hotel allows smoking in public areas and that is something that you smell throughout the hotel. Also be aware that the hotel i close to the airport. You can almost touch the planes. Having said that, Sarajevo is not a busy airport. The room is fairly large but does require some maintenance. A/C seems to be an issue in a lot of rooms. So ventilation is only done by opening the door to the balcony. Food is Ok (just ok), but during events they use a smaller menu. If you are attending an event in this hotel, there are some other hotels in the close neighborhood. The hotel is 10km from the city center. So consider to stay there to prevent transportation
