Pros:

We had booked a basic room and stayed 1 night as we had plan for darshan for early morning.The hotel is just a basic hotel. Easy to get food and transport once we come out. It is in a busy road. No restaurant or elevator provided in the hotel. Their own restaurant ( reasonably clean, tasty food) is there at the exit. Our room was in 2nd floor. Staff are polite. There is no Wi Fi for our room.

Sowntharyam, Palani - Thumbs Up for short stay
Pros:

Excellent value for money. Closer to temple. Attached veg hotel is welcome. Secured Car Parking is appreciable.

Pros:

Traveled with Spouse, kids & with my parents. Booked 2 Triple rooms with AC. Amazed by the quality of the rooms and was a pleasant stay. Again another day booked 2 deluxe dbl rooms (non AC) based on availability online - was touched when the hotel gave us a free upgrade to executive AC rooms. Overall, Excellent & Clean rooms, amazing service, nice car parking, well located. We were given a free upgrade as well... Loved this hotel and I know where to stay when in and around Palani.

Excellent Hotel, recommends to all.
Pros:

Good staff. Very professional and check in was smooth. Nice clean rooms and clean bathroom. Good hot water. Walking distance to Temple Hill - just 1.2 km. If you don't feel like walking, it is easy to get an auto rickshaw for 50 rupees. The staff arranged a taxi for us to the Coimbatore Airport for a very reasonable price. Their vegetarian restaurant was Indian and Chinese. Room Service was fast. However, North Indian dishes and Naan had sugar added making them sweet which is a surprise for diabetics and those familiar with savory North Indian foods. No Wifi in room (we travel with hotspot), No bottled water. No In room safe (drawer without keys)
BEWARE - General practice while staying in India - When you get Room Service, if you pay or charge it to the room, MAKE SURE YOU GET A RECEIPT COPY AND KEEP IT WITH YOU. If you pay tell them to sign PAID. Otherwise you might see unexplained items on the bill. GET A RECEIPT FOR EVERYTHING YOU PAY FOR – ROOM CHARGES, ETC. (Except tips, of course).
