I'm coming here every week because of the rooftop bar at Novotel is my favourite bar in Phuket. Really like the service and hospitality from Khun JoJo, New and Nui. They are always kind to me and threat me like a king. Highly recommended

Arrived for a 5 night stay in November 2025 around 7:00 pm. I had completed the on-line check in because it was supposed to make arriving smoother and hassel free. I originally gave this hotel a low rating following some disappointments over the first 3 days. While having breakfast in the Novotel (neighbouring hotel) a manager approached us to talk about my review. She has since made every reasonable effort to make things right and we are very satisfied. It's not about making mistakes in business; we all do. What is important is what one does to fix them once identified. Good on you Ibis Styles, and thank you.

just 15-20 minutes walk to the heritage site of Phuket City, this hotel doesn't look stylish at all (compared to other ibis Styles we visited in the past), the room was very basic/simple, we missed international tv stations, a food market (inclusive halal stores) and a Mc Donalds are just around the corner, the big breakfast buffet was nice and the only thing we liked at this hotel, for a one night stay sufficient

Had a couple of nights here snd cant failt hotel. Friendly staff, standard ibis room, very basic amenities. Breakfast was good plenty of choice. Personally wasnt too keen on the location was around 15 min walk to old town. Its connected to the novotel which looks really nice.

First and first, thank you for recognizing me as an Accor Member; it was a delight to receive extra benefits such as a welcome drink and a late check-out at 5 p.m. That would be excellent. However, I only have a point for a smell in the room that appears to be the death of anything (rat, etc.). The bed cover is a bit dirty. Please address this point and the overview will be a hit. Accor's Standard the staff were friendly, especially during the afternoon shift. 😊

This is a good location in center of phuket.
Good for Budget trip. Near market and free shuttle bus service.
Cozy and clean. For Accor member platinum and upper will get free breakfast at novotel near by. Fitness and indoor pool are good for rainy day.

I’ve stayed many times at different Ibis hotels. Always happy with all your services, but I do have a surprise. I did see at breakfast buffet they had Gluten Free Cupcakes. I explained I have the alllergy. 5 minutes later, the young lady brought me 3 slices of Gluten Free Bread. I was so happy and surprised. They even brought it to me toasted. They really made me feel special. Thank her, and thank you for your excellent service.

I enjoyed tremendously my 5-night stay in this well-located hotel in Phuket City. My room on the 4th floor was spacious and i could open the window for fresh air. There was daily housekeeping which i liked. Friendly staff members with big and warm smiles including Com, Bell and many others. The buffet breakfast was really excellent. The ambiance in the whole hotel was pleasant and relaxed. Nice. Kopkumkap. Hope to return here for another 5-night stay this Christmas.

Rooms were quite small, but suitable for a night.

Overall, you get what you pay for. Staff were amazing. Room was adequate, but.....! Something needs to be done about sound proofing the rooms. From being able to hear everyones conversations, use of the toilet ( and I don't meam flushing it), to everyones alarms going off - it is dreadful and not in the least restful.

From the start, my stay at Ibis Styles Phuket City felt special. Khun Por, the Duty Manager, was so thoughtful and sent me some info before I even got there about what I could get as a member and some deals. That was really nice!

When I arrived, Khun Phin gave me such a warm welcome. Getting to check in early and leave a bit later was a big help and made things easy. The hotel's location is just great. I could easily walk to the cool Old Town, and there were shops, yummy places to eat, and a local market all around. Super handy!

My room was clean and had everything I needed to feel at home. All in all, I had a really comfy stay and I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Phuket!

I stayed at ibis Styles Phuket City for one night in May 2025. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, just a short walk from the Old Town and the Sunday Walking Street Market. It's a great spot if you're interested in exploring local food, culture, and architecture.

My room was upgraded upon check-in to a Family Suite, which was clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and accommodated my request for a late check-out, which I really appreciated.

Breakfast was available at the on-site restaurant with a decent selection of both local and international dishes. I also received a small welcome treat in the room, which added a nice touch to the experience.

Guests can use the gym and swimming pool facilities at a nearby sister hotel. While the facilities are compact, they were more than adequate for a short stay.

During my visit, I enjoyed exploring nearby restaurants such as:

Raya Restaurant – offering traditional local dishes in a heritage-style building

Tu Kab Khao – known for authentic flavors and stylish decor

Pa Mai – a casual spot for local noodles with delicious fried chicken

Overall, the location made it easy to enjoy the Old Town’s street art, shophouses, and vibrant food scene on foot. This hotel is a good option for travelers who want to stay in the heart of Phuket Town.

A comfortable stay at the Ibis. While the room is not massive it was clean and had good air conditioning.

Location wise you're a grab ride away from pretty much all attractions

You're a short walk from a 7/11 and Costco type shop.

The shower was okay and the bed was comfortable. There's some poor tradework around the building - tiles not level with eachother but nothing that will ruin your holiday.

The best thing is using the pool and gym of the hotel next door as it is a partnership hotel.

Would recommend this hotel and although we'd try a different area in Phuket if we went back, we were both happy with the stay.

Though I did not have much time to walk around the hotel, the location seemed convenient. Same ibis Styles quality like other locations with good cleanliness. One minor issue was the broken electric kettle which caused a bit of flooding on the floor, which I had to wipe off with the towels.
