Please note that Zermatt is a car-free village. You can park your car in Täsch (indoor parking) and continue to Zermatt by train or taxi. The way from the train station to the hotel, may include steep passages, with heavy suitcases we suggest you to take a taxi (we do not offer pickup service). On foot, please ask the hotel for the easiest directions.

If you are traveling with children, please inform the hotel in advance about their number and age.

The spa area, including the whirlpool is only for adults (older than 14 years).

Please note that construction work is going on nearby between 7am and 7pm and some rooms may be affected by noise.

Had a great stay at Capricorn, coming back to Zermatt, coming back to Capricorn!
Pros:

Location, cleanliness, spa sauna area, ski room with lockers for clothes etc, breakfast and above all friendly and helpful staff!

Pros:

Lovely location with excellent view. Staff warned us ahead about some nearby construction but it didn’t affect our stay at all. We appreciated the heads up. Great breakfast!

Chambre avec balcon, pas très grande mais confortable.
Goûter offert sympathique.
Petit déjeuner assez varié

Cons:

Perfect hotel for skiing
Pros:

Super friendly staff, comfortable and nice rooms, good breakfast and you feel the eye for detail and very welcome. Ski room is spacious and very clean, room was very large and bright and staff very welcoming.

La colazione è davvero buona.
L’area Wellness è molto carina e piacevole.
Il personale è gentile.

Cons:

In tutto l’hotel pare non abbiano letti matrimoniali, quindi mettono insieme due letti singoli. Questi letti hanno un bordo in legno alto e grosso, quindi nell’unirli creano un avvallamento molto duro e largo in mezzo al letto.
Ed è molto scomodo!
Se si pretendono 409 CHF a notte, si deve offrire molto di più.

Everything was fabulous! The scenery from the room and the spa, in particular, were much better than expected. The sauna was clean and equipped with a self-service löyly system, so you could make it as hot as you like

Mooi, prachtige omgeving, centraal gelegen. Er is aan alles gedacht. Cake in de middag was heerlijk!

Highly recommend.
Pros:

This was a great hotel. Clean rooms, lovely balcony with view of the Matterhorn. Basement had saunas and steam room and an outdoor hottub. Breakfast was included which was very convenient and good selection.

Cons:

No mini fridge in the room. There was a fridge on the main floor but it wasn’t working.

Pros:

The room has a stunning view of the matterhorn with a nice terrace. It's perfectly spacious for 2 people and the toilet/shower is clean and actually quite spacious compared to few other hotels in Zermatt. The breakfast was great, packed with local food and the service was very kind and helpful.

Cons:

The bed was just a little squeeky and the pillows not too comfortable. Also, it'd be great to have a little more veggetables at the breakfast.
