Le paradis en Dordogne.
Pros:

Tout était parfait. Des hôtes extraordinaires aux petits soins. Un silence qui faisait mal aux oreilles. Et enfin (plutôt en faim) un petit-déjeuner de rêve français & international avec Claude aux fourneaux : une spécialité différente chaque jour en plus du buffet gargantuesque. Comme ils le disent eux-mêmes 'chez nous, vous êtes chez vous'...en mieux.

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits en chambre quadruple avec terrasse. Un accueil chaleureux et personnalisé: monsieur Mario prends le temps de saisir vos préférences et vous conseiller les pepites de la région. J'ai suivi les autres avis et profité aussi d'un moment Bien-être -massage by Claude. Une excellente pause coocooning ! Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner : du choix pour tous les palais! Un grand #MERCI !

Beautiful hotel in a great location in the Dordogne.
Pros:

The owners a lovely as is the property with lovely decor and great views across the valley. Close to Sarlat and driving distance to chateau, caves and plenty of lovely restaurants in Sarlat for and excellent meal and a huge local market in Sarlat.

Cons:

Nothing at all. We were very happy with our stay. Certainly no complaints

Beautiful location with great views. Great breakfast selections. Claude and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Little Gem in the country.
Pros:

The small Hotel Bien-Etre aux Cypress is a little gem. Beautifully situated in the small village of Marquay with a marvelous view. Very quiet. Our host Claude was wonderful to talk to and very helpful. Our king bed room was small but tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean. Great home base to explore the Perigueux.
