Friendly staff, upgraded room was great. Food downstairs was excellent... as was breakfast. Can't fault it, would definitely stay here if working in the area again.

The building is quite old and interesting. Nice room, very clean and friendly staff. I had a lovely Sunday roast when I got there
The stairs and corridors are not great for people with mobility issues. It was lively in the bar downstairs until 10.30 and then it quietened down
Amazing cooked breakfast, modern room, central location to Harleston, friendly staff, parking included.

Staff very smart in their uniform
Good presentation and helpful friendly experience
This is the 2nd visit to J.D Young, only this time I booked 3 rooms as I had colleagues with me. My room (No.1) was huge and tastefully decorated, with a large comfortable bed where I managed to sleep for a full 8 hours. The bar and restaurant was excellent, where we ate far more than we should because the food is so nice.
If I wanted to be really picky, I would say my poached eggs at breakfast were a little underdone, but in all honesty, having had such a large meal the night before, it wasn't an issue.
All excellent
