It has a mini kitchen. I like that I can make my own food or order out or go out. Close to everything.

Cons:

I don’t read the fine print. I didn’t realize they did not provide dishes for cooking and eating.

Perfect home base for 2026 LSPR.
Pros:

Property was close to LSPR’s headquarters, and the kitchenette was a absolute bonus. Will definitely stay again next year at this hotel

The room was spacious and clean.

Cons:

There were a few dislikes that I experienced during my stay including rude front desk clerk..wasn't helpful and unpleasant demeanor. I never write reviews but felt compelled to share due to the lacking experience that occurred the 1st time staying at My Place Hotel. Couldn't believe there was no ice machines available like all the other hotels I've stayed at. Using ice maker in fridge didn't compare to an ice machine..took way too long to make cup of ice and the ice looked yellowish..

Doubt we’d stay gain.
Pros:

It was clean, and nice to have a big refrigerator.

Cons:

The highway noise was terrible and made it difficult to sleep. Had to run the fan all night.
Even though it was a week day, the price increased significantly from one night to the next. We were told they can change the prices anytime they want and keep increasing them through weekends. This strikes me s greedy and predatory. This see seems to be the new business model, but in future we will avoid places where this has been our experience. There was no breakfast.

An exceptional, pet-friendly oasis after days of camping!
Pros:

This was the absolute perfect stop to end our Upper Peninsula camping trip before hitting the road home. The staff was incredibly welcoming to us and our two dogs, and the room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed after days out in the woods. It’s in a great location in Marquette and an unbeatable value for a pet-friendly stay.

Cons:

Honestly, nothing at all. Everything exceeded our expectations and we wouldn't change a thing.

Next time I’m in Marquette, I will look elsewhere
Pros:

Nice location, and it was fairly clean

Cons:

There was nothing included in the room that you usually get with a might place hotel, no silverware plates, glasses, pans, etc. Had to request paper plates and cheap plastic silverware from the front desk

Can’t beat it for the price!
Pros:

This place was such a pleasant surprise! The yellow and red logo does not inspire confidence - like you’re staying at a McDonald’s or something - but it was clean, quiet, had nice bedding, a good shower, and friendly staff. Truly excellent for the price!

Pros:

Great location and super clean room

Cons:

The booking site said "may be a fee" regarding dogs. I signed a slip claiming my two dogs. Never once did I get told they would charge my card on file. After checkout my card was hit and I was notified by my bank. IMO desk clerk didn't say anything, therefore underhandedly charged.
