Grandpa's Inn Vigan

Great customer service! The hotel's cozy. Felt the 18th century vibe.

Like the decor, clean interior, good foof with reasonable price, and pleasant staff. Requested change of shower towels on our second day that didn't come. Expected a cr or wc in our room but none. Must pay extra php1600 per night for a room with cr/wc. Had to use a common cr/wc that is not of Western standard.

I liked the old inn, had many antique items and unusual pictures. Only thing I suggest is have earplugs along.

Excellent staff, always willing to please. Cleanliness is and services are excellent. Free breakfast was really good. The rooms were ready on time. No bugs. Toiletries were provided, and there were trash cans. Hot and cold water showers were available. Fresh towels and beds were nothing to complain about. Walls of houses in the Philippines are not insulated especially during the Hispanic era, so lower your expectations about a noise-free environment. I recommend packing a good noise canceling device to remedy this especially for light sleepers. An improvement could be done in the Inn’s slow draining sink. Overall, Grandpa’s Inn and the surrounding areas’ efforts to preserve the past is nostalgic, commendable, and highly appreciated. Kudos to the owners, staff, and the community as a whole.

Unique hotel. Like a museum. Complimentary breakfast is a bonus.

Grandpa's Inn was a wonderful place to stay in Vigan, with great character, kind staff, and delicious food. Within an easy walking distance of everything in Vigan.

We enjoyed our stay at Grandpa's Inn and are glad we chose this for 3 days. There were some improvements that I'd like to share about the facilities, where their comfort room wasn't that clean as mostly it was dusty and no trash can was provided in our room. Also, we had to request for a light bulb for our bedside lamp.

In regards to the free breakfast, I'd suggest considering more food options especially Halal food for those who don't eat pork or have any dietary restrictions.

Overall, it was a good stay and really loved the vintage vibe of Grandpa's Inn. :)

There are big cockroaches in the bathroom, I wouldn't here stay again. I do not recommend it!

The hotel matches the cultural heritage area where it is located, but what I noticed most is the outstanding staff - ever courteous, polite and accommodating.

The hotel was very interesting. Very many antics. Service great and great location. My bed was a bit high needed a chair to get in.

We managed to get rooms for 8 people (3 rooms) and they were all fitted with aircons so thankfully we were able to cool from how hot outside was. Very nicely situated near calle crisologo but not so busy. Rooms were clean and bathroom was also very clean :) Thank you for the free breakfast it was just right.

We loved this property. The family room we got was pretty big (1 queen size bed and 2 single beds). I understand why people complained about the loud noise from the vehicles, however during our stay it was actually not that bad - we were able to have pretty good sleep. We also enjoyed their free breakfast meals and tried their restaurant.

Noise for traffic. Poor sound proofing.
