O que mais nós gostamos neste hotel foram: a vista da cidade, de um dos lados dá vista para o Impare States building; outra coisa que gostamos bastante foi que ele fica bem próximo a times Square, bem no coração de Manhattan. O café da manhã é bem naquele estilo dos Estados Unidos, muita massa e menos frutas mesmo assim eu gostei. Das 17:00 até às 18 e 30 no mesmo lugar que a gente toma o café, cada hóspede de cada quarto tem direito a 2 drinks alcoólicos, geralmente são cervejas e vinho ou sangria, refrigerantes e pequenos petiscos são liberados ( nos Estados Unidos eles não têm essa regulação de lanches rápidos igual no Brasil). Tem também várias guloseimas como chips tipo Doritos gratuitamente e água mineral também. Recomendo demais esse hotel. Coloquei fotos da janela do hotel com vista da cidade.
A diferença do horário do checkout para o check-in é muito grande então se você tá indo embora você é obrigado a sair antes do meio-dia mas se você está chegando tem que esperar até às 16:00 para fazer check in isso é muito ruim, é como se eles te força sem a pagar mais uma diária.
Breakfast was excellent. The location was excellent.
It was very difficult to leave bags at the hotel after we checked out, even for a few hours.
Would have much preferred a room with two beds, but that was not available.
The convenience of the location. Staff was friendly and were able to help accommodate. Offered new items when we called and good hotel to airport services.
The $30 credit everyday was not necessary for us so we felt it was pointless. They wouldn’t clean the trash properly at one time.

Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast staff were always so nice. The room was much smaller than a normal Embassy Suites but that was expected in NYC. The breakfast was great as always but even better than other Embassy locations bc they delivered your eggs to you instead of waiting. The afternoon snacks weren’t as interesting as other Embassy’s but were fine. Other reviews talk about the elevator wait times and that was a small issue but only during peak ride times (breakfast/happy hour, etc) and even then nothing too long. Still a great hotel to always stay at.

This was the first time I paid such a high price and received such poor service. The overall experience was very disappointing.
The staff showed little interest in helping guests, and the service quality was far below what I expected from a hotel in this price range. Even basic amenities were missing — there were no slippers provided in the room.
The hotel did not meet the standards it advertised. I would not stay here again, and I cannot recommend it to others looking for good value and professional service.

We visited the Embassy hotel and had a great time at the Heist Bar and Restaurant. I would especially like to highlight the host, Has. During happy hour on the 4th floor, he created a very welcoming atmosphere and gave us his full attention. When the bartenders were very busy, Has stepped in and kindly helped us choose our dishes. He explained everything clearly and made our visit much more comfortable. This truly reflects a high level of service. Has is a wonderful, attentive, and professional person. Thanks to employees like him, we would definitely love to come back again. Thank you!

The main positive is the location, which is very good and makes it easy to get around New York. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to outweigh the number of issues we experienced during our five-night stay.
One of the hotel's three lifts was out of service for around half our five day stay, which resulted in long waits and congestion, particularly at busy times. The phone in our room didn't work, and the shower curtain had been poorly fitted, causing water to leak onto the bathroom floor whenever the shower was used.
We were also provided with incorrect bedding for the sofa bed on arrival, which required additional follow-up to resolve.
The check-in process was particularly frustrating. The hotel has a 4pm check-in policy, which seems unusually late. We arrived at around midday and were repeatedly told that a room would likely be available shortly and that we would receive an SMS notification. No message ever arrived, and despite checking several times throughout the afternoon, we were unable to access our room until 4pm.
Housekeeping was also inconsistent. On one day our room was not serviced at all. When I queried this at reception, I was told that some guests do not want daily housekeeping and that I needed to request it if I wanted it. This policy was not explained during check-in and was not mentioned anywhere in the room information. The fact our room wasn't serviced was clearly just an oversight, and rather simply admit this and apologise, I was provided with a nonsense excuse.
The staff were generally polite and professional, but they did not come across as particularly friendly or proactive. They weren't unhelpful, but interactions felt more functional than welcoming.
The hotel is advertised as newly renovated. Our room was definitely not newly renovated. There is insufficient wardrobe space and storage space.

Hotel was very clean and this obvious how hard the housekeeping staff work.

The not so good stuff:
Food at breakfast buffet was mediocre (although the yogurt, cream cheese, bagels and cereals were fine)👎
Several of the front end staff were not overly friendly which did not make them approachable 👎👎
There was a nightly fee added to my bill which wasn’t transparent when I booked the hotel👎👎
Even though we were offered a “credit” to use this unexpected charge towards food / drinks in the lobby’s restaurant, we were not back in time to use it and when we were it was too crowded 👎👎
I wanted to keep our suitcases stored at the hotel past the “regulatory” 2 pm and was not given much (actually none) empathy by front end staff who essentially hid behind text messages stating those are the rules …Our flight was at 8 pm and I checked out earlier than 11 am to do one of our last two tours while in the city …👎👎👎
In the end I just gave a donation to a bellboy who was empathic …..
So I have mixed feelings about the overall service from the front end staff as emails/texts and in person interactions were not at all cohesive
Location is the only thing worth of mentioning. Definitelly NOT a four star hotel comparing all the others we have stayed around the world. We had a basic room, wich was really out-dated, as the hotel itself. The breakfast was a one big chaos, and not even close to European hotel breakfast. The staff were kind, except the cocky people behind the reception desk. Almost forgot; the elevators are not in synch, never seen anything like this before. Prepare to wait even 10 minutes to catch one! Loved the City, and most likely coming back. But not into this hotel.

We loved this hotel location, breakfast and most especially service. Badr at the reception desk was very helpful and accommodating and helped smooth our transition after a difficult travel day! I highly recommend!
