It was a good property for the price.
The breakfast was delicious but there was no hot water which was a bummer :(

El lugar está bien. Es funcional, no está retirado de lo turístico, está a seis calles de la terminal del ADO y como a tres de la quinta avenida. Si tiene un jacuzzi en el área común y la comida es rica, pero la fachada está muy descuidada la limpieza de las zonas comunes no es taaaan buena ni tan mala. En general está “bien” pero por un menor precio consigues lo mismo de “bien”

What a hidden gem in Playa Del Carmen! This place and the host Francis will give the feeling of coming home to your family! Which is the first time I ever felt like being at home in a “hotel”. Me and my girlfriend does not speak Spanish, and every other hotels we where at didn’t speak English throughout Yucatán. But Franchis spoke perfectly english and was the perfect “guide” not just in Playa but for the whole of Yucatán. He gave us good advices of where to go and what to do!

The room was very clean and pretty. it had all the necessities that you need and with good quality. The room even had a Google home which was handy to play some music on and had a smart tv where we could watch Netflix.

And don’t let me start on the breakfast… Wow, wow, wow! Homemade juice, bread, cake, marmalade and freshly made breakfast every day. The first day we got in-house cured Salmon and the second day we got enchiladas.



Thank you so much for the stay, and this is a must for us next time we will come back to Playa!

Great quiet location but only 5 mins walk to the centre. Attentive host who is freely available and provides useful local info. Super breakfast (fruit, cooked & pastries/breads) served in lovely shaded outdoor area. Room facilities good & with a lovely roof terrace, containing sun loungers, hot tub & shaded area.

Myself & travel partner decided to extend our vacation into a working stay and booked very last minute - Francis was very accommodating in allowing us to drop our baggage early and show us personally the hotel space and our room. There is a fantastic gourmet breakfast each morning served outside on the middle terrace. There's also a rooftop with jaccuzzi pool and spacious lounge areas. The internet was very reliable and the hotel secure. We frequented the cafe just down the street to work in the mornings and there is no shortage of restaurants nearby within a 15 min walk in any direction. Make sure you head to the 38th in the evenings for a magical ambience of restaurants. Taxis are easy to find if you're heading further and of course shuttles. ADO bus stations are a walkable distance as well. If you want a nice quiet space with easy access to everything PDC has to offer, this is the spot for you!

Bloom! is perfectly located: it is close to the restaurant/shop area and beach, but far away enough not to be bothered by the noise that is coming from that area at night.
The breakfast was always a great treat with fresh juice, home made marmalade, fresh granola chunks, good and strong coffee, fresh fruit and a Mexican dish. We regretted leaving early one morning and not being able to enjoy this meal on the patio.
The owner is a friendly and easy going guy. He gave us several good tips on good restaurants.
Our room was clean and nicely decorated. The only point for improvement was the damp smell in the small hallway leading to our room.

Hotel para parejas muy bonito no tiene alberca solo un jacuzi con hidro. Muy bonito todo. Lo que no Nos gustó fue que el dueño entra y sale de la habitación sin avisar, no tiene cable es un smart tv solo puedes ver Netflix pero su internet es muy malo, el desayuno que ofrecen desagradable por que como tiene sus mascotas están ahí y no te dejan comer por qué son perros grandes y quieren que les des comida
Si buscas pasar un fin de semana en la playa y solo llegar a dormir este es el hotel ideal cerca de la quinta avenida y muy seguro por la zona; No tiene estacionamiento tienes que dejar tu coche en la calle calificó del 1 al 5 (uno muy bueno y cinco muy malo) = 3

Best experience ever! 5 star breakfast, even fresh home made bread! As vegan and vegetarians, Francis found new recipes and made a different hot dish for breakfast each of the 5 days. Perfectly located near to 5th avenue but not on it, so you have peace and quiet. Rooms are clean and very nicely decorated. Francis has loads of information about tours and the area...another solo woman came on "emergency" after 2 sleepless nights at an all inclusive...info she received from Francis got her into some small tour groups, and saved her vacation!! Definitely will return to Playa just to stay here again and have the most amazing breakfasts of my life, no kidding ( and I've traveled to 22 countries)

Great location easy walking to 5th Ave but in a quieter residential area. The room was updated but did have a musty smell that bothered my husband. The common area needs to be cleaned up and the pool looked sketchy. The breakfast was very tasty and creatively done. The bed was great, very poor water pressure in the shower and no hot water.

We were well received and treated. Our host Francis was a true gentleman; his breakfasts were superb; he was helpful in every way.

Excelentes instalaciones y servicio. Muy recomendado. Volveremos!

Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and making our stay at Bloom so special. We loved that all the rooms are new, beautifully decorated, have a wonderful shower and great air conditioning. The breakfast was delicious, creative and different every day. Location is perfect. Just a couple blocks from the action of playa, but nice and quiet at night to sleep. It was so nice to be close to all the local restaurants and beach clubs. Some restaurants we enjoyed during our stay were Ceviche at La Fisheria and Los Aguachiles. Mexican at El Fogon and Carboncitos and gourmet dinner at Oh Lala and Imprevist... Mamitas and Kool beach clubs were a short walk away and great place to relax. We will be back soon.
