Villa 80

It was a fantastic chilled setting to finish our travels around Sri Lanka.
All the staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home.

The rooms were very spacious and there was a separate room for our daughter.
This allowed us to have lunch and dinner on the dining table outside her room, so we could eat in peace while she slept.
The food at Villa80 was fantastic!
Fresh locally sourced fish each day for lunch.
Crab curry for dinner was also a highlight and the breakfast each morning was also brilliant, particularly the Sri Lanka breakfast.

Villa80 is in a great location, close to the beach, restaurants and shops etc, all easy to travelling in a tuk tuk within a few minutes.

The pool was also brilliant and our daughter loved the slide!

The staff were really friendly and great with the kids. Our kids loved the pool. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. We would highly recommend stopping here.

It was an extremely good property. Great greenery with a home like feel. It is not RUN as a property by the owner. It is loved and cared for as if it were his own child. It was a huge area. I guess it to be much larger than an acre in area. Swimming pool is big enough a family to swim without hitting each other. Breakfast is home cooked. And served right outside your room. Can't get a better deal. And owner, Henry cares for you as a father ar family elder. He looks after and cares for your kids as a grandfather would. Couldn't have enough praise to put in a post regarding this property.

The care and attention from the staff was first class.

Mr Henry is a wonderful person. He makes u feel welcomed and home. We were given very special treatment during check in. We stayed in 2 bedroom villa. It was spacious, with exit options from both rooms - ensuring full comfort and privacy to the other person. 2 bathrooms were add on. We got very good srilankan breakfast. Mr Henry kept on checking on our well being and ensured that we are comfortable. He was kind enough to give us complimentary milk too when we requested in night, even when we requested to pay. We loved and enjoyed our stay.

A beautiful family friendly property that we stayed at over Christmas. We were a family of 11 (5 adults and 6 children). The bungalow was the perfect fit for our family. Both the outdoor and indoor space was clean and tidy and well maintained. Henry was a wonderful host, very helpful and kind.

Great location close to shops and restaurants, the grounds are beautifully kept, and the rooms are comfortable. Breakfast each morning was an absolute treat! Henry is a wonderful host - and his staff are incredibly kind and attentive. A special shoutout to Lakshmi who was so playful with patient with my 3 year old daughter.

It was a wonderful vacation! We stayed in this wonderful place in September. Henry, the landlord, made our vacation more than 50% better. We had a variety of local breakfasts, as well as our usual omelets and fried eggs, fresh fruit every day, and yogurt (we even agreed with Henry to buy Kourda on one of the days). We never ate dinner anywhere else but at his place (believe me, we tried it, but it was tastier at our villa). Thanks to the fact that we got together, we got discounts on our dinners, and we saved a lot of money. We weren't forced to use any unnecessary services, which is quite rare in Sri Lanka. The villa's grounds are diverse, with various animals such as peacocks, parrots, mongooses, and flying dogs. At night, the stars and fireflies appear as if in a cartoon. I also celebrated my birthday here, with a festive dinner featuring barbecue, a cake, music, and karaoke. I also tried lobster for the first time. The people who work there are extremely friendly and kind. It feels like we're all a big family.

Here's a brief overview of what I found most important: The area is large and green, with easy access to the road and tuk-tuk rides to the city center or the beach. There's no noise from the road, and no renovations or other annoying sounds. Everything is clean. The rooms are cleaned approximately once every three days, sometimes more frequently. They provide towels, bed linen, a hairdryer, and Wi-Fi. But we bought sim cards at the airport, sometimes the wifi didn't work well, but that's the case everywhere. It's better to bring your own shower gel and shampoo or buy them at the supermarket. There's a kitchen and cutlery. There's clean drinking water in the cooler. There's a mosquito repellent and coils. They'll help you with any issues. The service is excellent. The only minor drawback is the limited storage space. You can also get massages, but we didn't try it.

Le site est d'inspiration coloniale et très calme. Les chambres sont grandes et bien équipées (notamment les sanitaires modernes). Henry, le propriétaire des lieux, est très sympathique, disponible et toujours de bon conseil. Il nous a aidé à organiser certains de nos déplacements. Repas de qualité et copieux. Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner de notre jour de départ : nous avons du partir très tôt et Henry avait veillé à nous préparer des petites boites pour que nous puissions déjeuner à l'aéroport.

Tout était génial.

Beautiful location with lots of fruit trees and nice gathering outside sitting areas. And specially amazing staff with their lovely hospitality. I love your company, Lakshmi , Indeevara and other two staffs and who cooks amazing srilankan food and host Henry .

The staff and food was good. The staff went out of their way to meet our needs. The facilities were sub-standard. - There were cockroaches in most of the rooms. The pool was very clean and we had a great time in it. The vegetation on the property was lush and provided a great atmosphere.

Like walking into paradise (6 adults 6 kids 2y 3y 6y 8y 10y 13 y) great Host ,Staff, Food nothing was to much trouble. Highly recommended

The staff were amazing. The owner was there and he made us feel very welcome. They went out of their way to help. We requested a late checkout and they provided that as well.
They have also bought the adjoining land recently, so the resort will be really nice in a year or so as it expands.
