Comfortable enough, but for my youngest who was really looking forward to the pool- disappointing.

The room was clean, easy to access from the parking lot.

Cons:

The pool area and actual pool itself was dirty, hot tub is broken. The fitness facility is seriously lacking and it was also dirty. Breakfast was “help yourself” which is fine, but nothing was clearly marked. You had to ask the waitress for drinks, creamer, condiments, etc and she was busy with paying customers. The whole breakfast was the most bare bones I’ve ever seen for a complimentary breakfast. My daughter also thinks pie at breakfast time should be a thing. 😉

We really enjoyed our stay at the BCMI. It was one of the best nights during our trip.
Pros:

I loved how clean the room was. The staff were very friendly and the parking right in front of our suite was a big bonus (no long parking lot with bags and 3 kids in tow). The pool was a lot of fun and there was also conveniently life jackets for my kids to use (I forgot to pack ours). The staff were very accommodating and turned the slide on for us in the morning right away when we asked. After spending an entire weekend at the lake we each got to enjoy a hot shower before getting cozy in the big comfy beds!

Cons:

My only problem was the hot tub wasnt working at the time of our visit which was a bit disappointing. Hopefully if its not fixed yet, it gets fixed soon!

Probably wont be back again! For the price, we can stay somewhere that has a much better breakfast.

I booked online with bookings.com
Bookings.com sent an email for me to confirm my reservation by calling the hotel myself, which I did. My reservation had 4 requests which I also confirmed when I called the hotel myself. We needed at late check in as we had a 5 hour drive, I needed ground floor accommodations, a walk-in shower not a tub due to disabilities, and a non-smoking room. The guest service staff said oh yes! We have all of that available. They lied. The last thing you want to have to hear after 5 hours of driving and an 11:00:p.m. check in! We were left to find accommodations else where. I highly recommend The Best Western in Lloydminster! Much better accommodations, service and amenities!

Overall, our stay was okay, but there were several things that could have been better. The fitness room floor was dirty, and the pool water was cloudy, tasted salty, and seemed to have a lot of chlorine. There were also no towels stocked at the pool when we needed them.

Our room was booked for four people, but there weren’t enough towels provided for everyone. It would also be helpful to have paper cups available in the room.

The complimentary breakfast was disappointing and could definitely be improved. I also think hot chocolate should be available for kids as part of the free breakfast instead of having an extra charge.

The stay could have been much more enjoyable with better cleanliness, proper stocking of basic supplies, and a few improvements to the breakfast and pool area.

Pros:

The staff were really nice and efficient.

Cons:

The air con was broken, the room looked clean until you actually looked. The rooms were scattered and it was hard finding the room and the building its self was a maze.
