Nice and clean
Friendly staff. Friendly people. Great roof top restaurant.
Parking isn’t great.
The hotel design is beautiful
Parking was $30 for one day!!!! That’s ridiculous to pay to park where I’m staying. And if I am going to pay to park it should be a discount vs. non hotel guests.
I like that the guest hallways were lightly lit and the ambience was very appealing. The room setup was different from other rooms too in the sense that the sink was not in the bathroom so the actual bathroom only had toilet and a very nice shower, which I appreciated. Cool decor inside the room as well and the bed was nice.
I could hear noises in the hallway throughout my night stay, just mild bustling around maybe from other guests but I was at the end of the hall and never saw anyone else outside of the room, so I wasn't expecting to hear that many sounds.
It was safe.
No complaints
The room was very clean. All of the reception staff was nice and friendly. The area was nice, it was live in the day and quiet at night . A lot of walking distance bars and restaurants.

Overall property was nice. Nothing stood out.
There should be a walk way bridge for guests from the parking garage to the hotel.

I just flew home after a miserable stay at the AV Hotel Raleigh North Hills. When I check in, I was offered room 428 or the one below. I took 428, not realizing it wasn't the noise from the outside I should be concerned about. The air conditioner in the room was incredibly loud. I slept with industrial earplugs and it still kept me up all night. Come 8am the next morning, I was off to my clients after having had ZERO sleep. In addition, the cold air (even though it was set to 75) blew directly on the top part of the bed right in my face. Absolutely miserable! All of the above can be yours for $500 per night! Yes, I said $500 "per" night in Raleigh, NC.
