The only thing good about this hotel is the location. Even the room leaves a lot to be desired. The sink in the bathroom in room 426 is broken and organic growth/mold is growing where the hand towels hang. We requested more towels and never received them. The towels we do have need to be donated or converted to cleaning towels as they are frayed. The room needs more lighting near the mirror by the door. The worst part is the outsourced valet. With no clear area in an already congested intersection of where to leave your car, we finally found an attendant. The attendant nor front desk staff was able to locate a luggage cart nor a bellhop to help us unload since we’re in the middle of the road. Tanashia (not the correct spelling because she didn’t wear a name tag) became agitated when I asked how does a 7 floor hotel accommodate handicapped, elderly and others needing assistance with no organization and we just have to take our belongings out of the car and leave them in the middle of the street?? The even more insulting part was 28 minutes later to return downstairs to my car and it’s still running. Gas is nearly $5/gallon and theft is real. Why is my car not secured? To be clear, if total cost was an issue I could go to another location. It was the deliberate waste of my money and time that is my concern. Add more insult to injury, the valet couldn’t find my car when I needed it. As a whole 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Valet parking was speedy & very considerate. Parking w/o valet would be cumbersome.
No parking in the building.
As a lifetime Platinum member at Marriott, I expect a much higher standard of service than what I experienced during this stay. The check-in process was poor, and the valet service was equally disappointing. Both were frustrating and fell far below the standard I expect from Marriott.
A separate and much more serious issue occurred when I had already been granted a late checkout. Despite that, when I returned to my room, it had been left wide open with all of my belongings still inside, even though I had not checked out and was still within the approved late checkout time.
The problems continued from there and made the entire stay feel like a comedy of errors at my expense. This was an unacceptable experience.
Mattie gave great customer service
I did not dislike anything
Horrible customer service. I asked about getting a corporate rate and the sales director ignored my request for two days. The front desk went back each day to speak to the her and she said she would get back to me but did not. It wasn’t until I asked to speak to her that she came out to tell me that because they were fully booked that she could not credit me back the difference in rates. I had the exact same thing happen in Salt Lake AC Hotel and they refunded me the difference?! Way too expensive a hotel for the quality! Rooms are clean but very basic. There are many other options in the area. Don’t come here!
The front desk staff told me i could park for free in a parking lot across the street & i got a ticket
Location
Nothing
Nice and clean
Friendly staff. Friendly people. Great roof top restaurant.
Parking isn’t great.
The hotel design is beautiful
Parking was $30 for one day!!!! That’s ridiculous to pay to park where I’m staying. And if I am going to pay to park it should be a discount vs. non hotel guests.
