Pros:

Le service et le personnel de l’équipe est très bien. Les repas du restaurants sont bons. Les chambres sont confortables.

Cons:

La propreté reste à désiré surtout dans la salle de bain et les parties communes. L’eau de la piscine était très trouble. C’est un bel hôtel qui a besoin d’une grosse rénovation

Pessimo e sporco
Pros:

L'unica nota positiva è la vicinanza alla stazione e la gentilezza del personale in reception. Il ristorante anche non è male.

Cons:

Per il resto un hotel ai limiti della decenza. Camere sporche, ascensore sporco, tutto trasandato (vedi foto) e non manutenuto. Frigo in camera rotto, ho chiesto per 3 giorni 20 volte al giorno di cambiarlo ma non c'è stato niente da fare. Avevo scelto questo hotel per la presenza della piscina ma è inutilizzabile per quanto è sporca l'acqua. Allego foto, comparatela con quella di booking e rendetevi conto che non si vede il fondo per quanto è torbida l'acqua. Rapporto qualità prezzo veramente pessimo.

Convenient and comfortable hotel with great restaurant
Pros:

Excellent location, about 200m from the railway station. Room was spacious and clean. Food at the restaurant was excellent and restaurant service was great. We were able to store our bags at reception after checking out. Would stay again.

Cons:

We were initially taken to a room in an adjacent property (Hotel Green Grass) which had black mould on the walls and ceiling and looked nothing like what we had booked. When we asked to change rooms, it was established that this was a mistake and we were taken to our correct room in the Valampuri Hotel - which was lovely.

The pool water was a bit cloudy and not very appealing despite the hot weather.

Pros:

Jeg likte at det er sentralt. Baren var fin. Fine og hjelpsomme ansatte ved resepsjonen og på restauranten.

Cons:

Frokost kunne vært bedre og rommene er nokså slitte. Bassenget var heller ikke pent. De kunne ha gjort området litt mer hyggelig.

Absolutely disgusting experience at Valampuri Hotel.
Pros:

Some of the staff is good. I left my charger at the property they kindly called me to send it back.

Cons:

We paid LKR 14,000 per night and what we received was nowhere near what was shown on Booking.com. The photos are completely misleading—this feels like false advertising.

At check-in, we opened one of the rooms and it hadn’t even been cleaned yet. This is basic hospitality, and they completely failed. Instead of properly resolving the issue, they moved us to another room that was even worse—dirty, full of ants, and with a terrible smell.

The bathroom was absolutely unacceptable. You couldn’t even touch the taps—they clearly hadn’t been cleaned for ages. It felt unhygienic and neglected.

I even asked to upgrade the room just to get something cleaner, but they said there were no rooms available.

The restaurant food itself was okay, but again, cleanliness was a disaster. Flies were everywhere, constantly landing on the food, and to make it worse, there was no water coming from the filter.

This place seriously lacks basic hygiene and management standards. Charging this price for such conditions is outrageous.

Avoid at all costs.

AC remote was not working, couldn’t control Ac, It got very cold during thr night. We’ve had to take off the plug off the wall in the middle of the night.
