Breakfast was fantastic. There is a menu with enough options to choose from to satisfy everyone's needs. The cappuccino is a definite, the best I have tasted. The hotel is close by so many fabulous restaurants, our favorite being The Black Sails Restaurant. Fantastic Art Galleries in the town and it was awesome looking over the Bay to see the Fishermen launching their boats and then later returning to land.
There is nothing we did not like, everything at the location was as per the bookings.com site.
Breakfast was simple but very well put together. Staff were wonderful - friendly and welcoming.
We loved everything about the Paternoster Hotel!
Staff and food was excellent

THANKS SO VERY MUCH/

ALL WAS GOOD
1) The hotel was accommodating in postponing my booking to 2 weeks later than the date initially planned
2) The rooms were clean, comfortable and cleaned every morning with clean towels
3) The shower head was the best I've had
1) The breakfast was pathetic, even though they tried their utmost to cater for Halaal. You could only choose one of the items on a short menu with only 1 cup coffee, Tea or 1 glass of Juice. The same every morning.:-(
2) I would suggest a buffet breakfast with porridge, yogurt, fruit that YOU can choose from and that beverage should be bottomless.
3) The rooms lacked 2 bottles of complementary water, a small bar fridge and tissues.
4) By 9pm, the entire place gets locked up, NO PERSONAL, no access to the lounge area. The only access is a side door, with a key supplied by the hotel from the unsecured parking area that leads to the rooms.
5) NO security personal at night at the Hotel and parking area. It is on the Main road and anyone has direct access to the cars. The Hotel is not enclosed for safety purposes.
The rooms was ok. No drinking water, bar fridge, tissues
The breakfast was pathetic. I would suggest a healthy buffet breakfast with porridge, yogurt, fruit, bottomless coffee, tea, juice.
The parking area is not secure, NO SECURITY on the premises at night and it's not enclosed as anyone can get to the car from the street.
The entire place including the lounge area gets locked up at 9pm. The only access you have to your room from the parking unsecured area is a side door, with a key supplied. This is very unsafe.
A charming place.

Clean and comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Interesting themed bar!
The location was nice and central.Walking distance to everything.
Was very peaceful and the breakfast were great
This is a 3 star hotel where you get 5 star treatment. We spent 4 nights on Bed/Breakfast package . We had a sea facing room with a small veranda over looking secure car park and lawn and a view of the setting sun over the sea. Highly recommend that you choose a sea facing room Breakfast was a choice of 3 with the third being the whole eggs, sausage etc etc, toast and tea or coffee from drip filter(excellent.)I can highly recommend the mussel plater, 20 for R140! Need I say more? We ate our meals in the hotel as it was cheaper than down art the seafront. We went to the famous "Panties Bar": and it lived up what I had read about it. The barmen are very friendly and we found "klippies" to be not too expensive. Overall, a wonderful 4 days and nights in a charming hotel. Would go again, soon, if it wasn't so far from DURBAN!! Well done Management and Staff.
Nothing.
It's an old traditional hotel very quiet when we were there
Lustige Einrichtung
Die nötige Sicherheit war weder im Haus noch auf dem PP gegeben
The location was superbep, few steps to the beach. Breakfast was delicious and Carisma at the reception was the best. She gave us a sea view room, I couldnt have asked for more. I will surely go back.
Nothing
