Shuguang International Hotel Huaian

今度また泊まりたいです。

The hotel is no doubt strategically located in the heart of the city with a lot going on around it, plenty of restaurants and shopping malls. Arrival experience was no fault and staff was professional. Room size was generous and cucumbers were given as part of welcome courtesies.

Found hair in the fresh bath towel. Faucet was stained and no indication of cold-hot water. Breakfast experience was simply a disappointment, while I do not mind the local selections, the restaurant was underlitted and it was just chaos as staff do not seat guests, no manager to supervise, and strangers will just join your table without slightest courtesy of asking in advance. Propaganda posters are everywhere and even the toothpick containers are printed with slogans! Just amazing!!

I have been in Huai'an for 8 nights, business reason and I stayed at this Hotel. Staff really nice and available, room comfortable and big, clean and quiet. International breakfast, good, as the standards in second round cities in China.

Good hotel, breakfast and diner okay, quiet and clean room, situated in the centre of the city, kind personnel, rather luxurious and reasonable prices. If I return to Huai An, I choose this hotel again.

I thought this hotel was just fine. It had the best breakfast selection that I've seen in a while. I never sought out cereal or English breakfast tea so can't comment on that. Staff will prepare your tea or coffee and bring it to you. One side of breakfast area is buffet selection. The other side has a wonderful egg station, noodle station, etc.

Hotel's located in city's center. Rooms are comfortable, with excellent bed (this was really unique experience).
Food is excellent and affordable. Hotel stuff is very friendly and they looking to meet every guest request (especially Mr.Frank Li, Front Office Manager).
Near hotel you have lots of shopping malls,restaurants, hot pot restaurants, pizzeria's even bakery (which is really odd for China), karaoke bars....
15 minutes by walk, near the Wanda Plaza, there are several "normal" bars.

This hotel looks like a night club...and from the amount of dodgy drunk people wandering around it certainly seemed that way inclined.
Room decor is stylish however carpets are sticky and the tiled floor filthy.
Bathroom grotty with sex toys on the basin ready for purchase.
Shower water cold and zero water pressure.
Breakfast is a chopstix only affair and the english tea disgusting.
No cereals and very poor selection.
Very noisy at night
