Affordable and good location!

We enjoyed a spacious apartment, in a good location, for a very reasonable price!

The location is great as there is a metro and tramps just around the corner from the apartment. The actual apartment is fine and equipped with all that is needed. When we first walked in we smell cigarette smoke which was not pleasant. We believe it came from the outside balconies. There is also a mall a few steps away which was very convenient for groceries and ahopping.

Booked at the last minute; instructions were clear and precise. Access code and digital key were sent promptly. The beds are comfortable. Overall a great place and good value for money. Just two things to improve on:
1. Towels - hand towel size not suitable for bath
2. Freezer - fully iced over; needs to be defrosted!

We got the room late. The contact man wasn't answering at all. After we got the key for the room, we found out that the cleaning lady was still cleaning there, so we kindly asked her to just leave it like that. We were waiting outside for almost 6 hours. The AC was leaking, the bed was broken, and there were no right towels.

The area is only ok

This was our third time we stayed at this place for the last three years. We stayed at Superior 1Bedroom apartment, enough for 4 people. Rooms always clean and spacious, and has everything we need for 3-4 nights - iron with ironing board, bedding, towels, shower gel, soap, hair drier. Central heating. Kitchen was fully equipped with all you need if you wish to cook. Fridge was very clean, washing machine.. It was quite during our stay.
It' easy to get to/from airport on Express bus 100E, bus top very near.
If we ever back to Budapest, we would stay here again.

Sofa was dirty. Broken doors across entire apartment. Refused to replace them. No sink in toilet. Shower was 75cm high to climb with no mirror for height of kids. No cleaning (only after 4 days). Terrible selection. Does not look like any pictures or description in Expedia. Probably 2 star and claims to be 4 star apart-hotel. This community building has no design whatsoever, dark with no lights in entrance at night. We left before with partial refund, and upgrade to different place. Totally terrible.

The Vagabond Corvin was excellent value for the money. A 15-20 minute walk to the tourist areas. The apartment itself was very much as advertised. No complaints. It’s not, and doesn’t pretend to be a five star hotel. Perfect for our needs. The company was excellent to deal with and I would definitely recommend.

There was nobody at the door to
Meet us when we arranged for a meeting at noon. Nobody showed us how to unlock the door. A neighbor did. Tried to use the washing machine but there were no instructions so the clothes did not spin or dry. We had to travel with wet clothes in a big plastic bag. It was The noisiest night ever because it’s a rowdy street. No sleep at all in a hot night. We had to
Open the windows. Next time, stay at a nice hotel. An apartment is for a big group of girls

Everything great though ate at buffet breakfast at youth hostel down the street

Bed very comfortable.
Close to metro and tram.

Checked in about an hour early by a very pleasant young
person and room was ready to be occupied. The apartment is spacious for Budapest standards. All of the basics were there, however it was soulless. No pictures , no rugs or carpets. The walls are in the hallway need of a good lick of paint and there was a hole in the bedroom door. The sofa bed when used as a sofa is most uncomfortable and has some dreadful stains on it.
In my view if they had a minor upgrade and made it look like the photos it would make a huge difference.

Flat was well equipped n a great area for ease of getting around . Would recommend , I will use these flats again

Nicely decorated modern apartment. wheel chair accessible with washing machine, convenient appliances and good solid staff. The shower wasn’t well maintained, but the rest of the apartment was VERY nice. Love the location, I wish we had more time.

Very pleasant, neat and clean!

Property was nice. Didn’t like how I had to send all my personal documents through email before they gave me check in instructions.

Overall we were very impressed with the apartment as it was simple but tastefully decorated. Very clean and had everything we needed. We stayed for 5 nights.

The check in/out process was very easy with them sending you an email with all the various codes needed for the keys and doors.

Apartment feels very safe as there are various gates and cctv set ups. The complex is in a very good position with transport links (metro/trams/buses) to just about anywhere you want to go. Even though there was a replacement bus service for the M3 metro while we were there, it shocked me how frequent these were.

There are several supermarkets within walking distance including an Aldi and a prima just on the corner. (I highly recommend the prima for its pastries which were amazing 👌)

My only negative with regard to the apartment would be the comfort of the bed and the sofa bed. They were a little bit thin if you get me and the bed was quite low down as well. Only a minor thing though.

Also I'm not sure if the complex is shared with other companies like Vagabond or other permanant residents but unfortunately the person above us was incredibly loud almost every night and until stupid hours as well. I can hardly attribute this to the quality of the apartment though or the service of Vagabond.

All in all a very pleasant stay and would recommend Budapest to anyone as it is a great city with so much culture and character. 🙂
