Easy to reach by tram from Matsuyama JR station this is a slightly older Japanese business hotel. We stayed in a japanese style room which was very small but clean and comfy for one or two nights. Free bathroom ammenities as well as robes etc are available in the hallway. The hotel offers free bycicles for use which makes getting around town a breeze. It's about a 10 min bike ride from the centre of town and the chairlift station leading up to the castle. As almost everywhere in Japan the staff spoke very limited English but where kind and helpful and tried their very best. Very hard to beat for the price but possibly best for a short stay due to the room size.
For a budget hotel, the decor was aesthetically pleasing and the room and bed(s) were larger than I expected. Great.

Good hotel in a central location with very helpful and kind staff. We stayed there for one night on a bikepacking trip, and had everything we functionally needed. Convenience stores are nearby.

5階に宿泊したのですが，シャワーのお湯が出なかったことがありました。なんでも3階の部屋でお湯を出しっぱなしにしていて5階までお湯が行かなかったという。キャパシティが小さすぎ。
テレビはBSが見れないのが不満。
地デジテレビは見れない、ゴミは全てお持ち帰り、フロント付近の無料コーヒーはなくなったら足してくれない、全てにおいて経費削減の意識が高いのはわかりますが、サービス業、接客業としてはどうかなと思います。多分、二度と宿泊はしないと思います。
Comfortable and affordable hotel. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The building and furniture are a bit dated but everything is functional. The staff was of course polite and nice.
The hotel is not very close to the station but it's still in a nice location next to the castle park. You can get bikes at the reception too! In front of the hotel there's a parking lot.
If you're looking for a cheap and cozy accommodation, this is recommended unless you're looking for something fancy.
繁華街まで少し遠いが他は問題なかった
Very helpful staffs, fresh amenities, a free bottle of water everyday, free washing machine with the detergent (¥100 for dryer), convenient to the tram station, very enough car and bike parkings.
Very few restaurants and shops nearby, but only 15 minutes' walk to the Okaido shopping street (department-store, shops, restaurants, bars, Izakayas, almost everything you think there)..
While I was staying, WiFi trouble was occurred for a couple days. Otherwise comfy to stay.

The location is a bit away from the citiy centre while there are bicycles free to use for hotel guests. Cycling around Matsuyama was great fun and efficient. We enjoyed our stay. Highlyrecommended. .
