I rarely write reviews this negative, but my stay at this hotel was an absolute nightmare. The property is completely neglected, extremely filthy, and failing at basic hygiene.
From the moment I walked into the room, it was clear that cleanliness is not a priority here. The space was crawling with bugs and cockroaches, making it impossible to feel comfortable or sleep peacefully. It is a genuine health hazard.
To make matters worse, the room was advertised with a view, but the window was entirely blocked by overgrown trees, leaving us with zero natural light and no view whatsoever.
Given the atrocious state of the room, the price is completely unjustifiable. It is highly overpriced compared to several other nearby hotels that offer much cleaner rooms, actual views, and vastly superior service for a fraction of the cost.
Save your money and your health—look elsewhere.

Очень удачное расположение.
Полотенце и белье меняют каждый день, очень приветливые! Номер отличный большой, был с частичным видом на океан, хотя заявлен как с видом на город .

Если менеджера спросить, можно пройти в бассейн в соседнем отеле, мы еще ходили в бильярд играть в эту же сеть.
Всего у каани 4 отеля на острове

Водичка, чай/ кофе все бесплатно
В номерах даже крем для тела есть.
Шампуни/ гель для душа есть, зубные наборы
Серф, зонтики если дождь

Завтраки тоже вполне хорошие

Менялись за 9 дней

Были блины / тунец / панкейкт / омлеты / овощи / арбуз / оливки

Cons:

У нас была проблема с водой, но ее устранили

Not good stay for vegetarian better to stay at Arena.

We like room size.

Cons:

We didnt like breakfast which was included in package. There is no option for vegetarian. When we told them plz prepare atleast pratha for us as there is no option available for veg they saidvthat we have predefined menu accordingly brkfst arranged by us. Not possible for make partha for you. U dont like this attitude of reastaurant after paying so much amount.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay! This wasn’t my first time in Maafushi, but it was my first stay at Kaani Grand Seaview, and I absolutely loved it! The view was stunning, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the huge balcony was a lovely bonus. I also really appreciated being allowed to check in a little earlier.

The service and cleanliness were impeccable, with special thanks to Mr. Aliullah for his excellent care. The entire staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always happy to help, even when they were super busy.

I had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back! 😊

Fantastic hotel, excellent staff, and great service from start to finish. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at Kaani Grand Seaview Hotel in Maafushi. The hotel exceeded our expectations and ticked all the boxes we had in mind for this Maldives holiday.

A special thank you to the reception team, especially Kadir and Summan, for their warm welcome, helpful guidance, and excellent support from check-in until the end of our stay. Their local knowledge and willingness to assist made our trip even more enjoyable.

We would also like to thank Asif from housekeeping. He was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always ensured our room was cleaned exactly as requested. His flexibility and attention to detail were greatly appreciated.

The hotel is well located, the rooms are comfortable, and the service throughout was outstanding. We highly recommend Kaani Grand Seaview to anyone visiting Maafushi and would happily stay here again.

Beautiful sea views and unforgettable kindness when I needed it most.
Pros:

I am so grateful to Esha, Kadir, and the team at Kaani Grand Seaview. I was travelling alone and developed an ear problem after diving, which meant I had to postpone my flight home. I was frightened and struggled to communicate in English, but the staff supported me with such kindness.

They helped me arrange medical care, change my flight, find another hotel when I needed to stay longer, and book my speedboat transfer for my new departure date. Even as I was checking out, they continued to help me.

Their kindness made me feel that I was not alone. The beautiful sea views were wonderful, but it is the people and their care that I will remember most. Thank you, Esha and Kadir, for helping me through such a difficult time. I will never forget your kindness.

Nothing to complain about. I am truly grateful for the care and support I received.

Moyen , not the ideal Maldives experience you think you will have
Pros:

Les repas étaient bons à savoir le dinner et le petit déjeuner était moyen mais le cappuccino cocunt milk était parfait.
Le balcon avec vue sur mer sur vous prenez un étage supérieur

L’emplacement , la plage n’était pas belle , beaucoup de constructions autour et surtout des travaux dans l’hôtel même en plein matin (8h et aussi le soir ) c’était insupportable on s’est plaint à la réception quand on a entendu le bruits des travaux à 16h ils ont dit qu’ils allaient arrêter mais malheureusement le bruit s’est reproduit le lendemain et cette fois-ci du bon matin pas du tout idéal pour une destination où les gens sont censés venir se détendre et se reposer
