I accidentally cut my hand at the hotel, and the hotel was unable to provide basic first aid supplies such as a bandage or finger plasters to close the wound.

Later, when these supplies were finally arranged, my roommate was not allowed to collect them from the reception desk, and I was told I had to come down myself. However, I had to hold a towel against the wound to stop the bleeding, which made it impossible for me to go downstairs alone.

By the time the first aid kit was organized—about an hour and a half later—I had already managed to close the wound myself, and my friend went to a pharmacy to buy plasters.

All you need in a perfect location
Pros:

The staff are so friendly and helpful. As if the location wasn’t already enough. Our biggest thanks to Shohel who kept our room so clean and tidy with beautiful flowers and towel sculptures on the bed.

Cons:

It would be good if there was access to the pool at the sister hotel “Kaani Palm” next door

Kaani Hotel: A Hidden Gem with a Touch of Magic
Pros:

Kaani Grand Seaview hotel is very clean, comfortable, and in a great location on the island. Magic was very attentive, warm and went above and beyond to make sure every excursion my husband and I booked was perfectly arranged for us. We felt looked after at all times!Thank you so much, Magic! All the other staff members were also very pleasant and did everything to make our stay a good one: Lucky, Jusica and Imesha. Thank you all for providing us with a memorable holiday!

The Wi-Fi connection was a bit inconsistent at times, coffee quality needs much improvement and breakfast options felt slightly limited - need more variety.

INCROYABLE
Pros:

Bel hôtel, très bien placé, très propre et vraiment le personnel est incroyable. Nous avons été accueillis par Rajiv qui s’est bien occupé de nous du début à la fin. L’équipe du restaurant très adorable, surtout Uzzal qui s’est occupé de nous au repas CANDLE LIGHT ainsi que ANJALI. L’équipe de Kaani Excursion qui s’est bien occupés de nous lors des sorties bateaux. Le guide LAKMAL est très professionnel, autant dans l’eau avec les photos inoubliables et tout au long de la journée. L’équipe ROOM SERVICE avec MONIR qui était au petits soins. Ça a était une expérience incroyable. Je reviendrais

Staff was wonderful overall
Pros:

Jusika was a star. She was so attentive and pleasant. She genuinely felt concern for my well-being. She checked on and made me feel welcome. Many of the staff members were kind and friendly. On my last day they did a design and a message on my bed which was sweet. Breakfast was ok. The omelettes and pancakes were tasty. The bread was hard.

Cons:

There was dead cockroach in the staircase. I reported it but when I took the stairs a while afterwards, it was still there. That’s unacceptable. Also, there were several cats in the restaurant during breakfast. It was uncomfortable. That may just be how things are on the island though.
