Food at the Hotel would have been a massive bonus, but overall, a very nice stay, would stay again.
Pros:

The room was very cleans and comfortable,and the had everything you need for the the stay. The young lady behind the bar was very friendlt, pleasant and helpful.

Cons:

Nothing to complain about.

Great small hotel in Lancaster - great location, rooms, staff & a nice bar area
Pros:

Staff were lovely and nothing was a problem.
Lovely twin bedded room in the old stable block (I think).
Clean and tidy.
Lovely old hotel with a great bar & open fire that we managed to get a seat beside for a wee wine.
Fairly central location - not too far to train station if you are walking and easy access to canal, shops, bars, cafes etc
Would totally book this hotel again if I was visiting Lancaster again (which I likely will as I really liked it!)

Great stopover
Pros:

Welcoming reception, spotlessly clean room, quiet despite being in the centre of town and a very comfortable bed on which I got 10+ hours sleep! Extremely good value for money.

Cons:

Nothing, can't fault it for the price.

lovely one night stay
Pros:

showed to room by very friendly staff.. nice clean room with a big comfy bed ! nice modern bathroom, shower had good water pressure. provided little tray of breakfast goodies which was lovely ! very close to the centre and near to bars and restaurants.

Cons:

nothing our stay was great :)
