The Maven Hotel at Dairy Block

When I first arrived at the hotel, there was a terrible smell of raw sewage. We were unable to eat at the restaurant or sit at the bar because of the smell. Several of the outlets were not working, the carpet was worn out, and the light above the shower was not working. There was no coffee maker in the room. For such a high-end hotel, it sure lacks attention to detail.

Perfect for business! Advance check-in provides a room key via Bluetooth on your phone plus a discount for Valet that bring cost down to public parking. Attached to an entire “market” with great food, drink and gifts. In the heart of the Dairy District - great options all around and a couple of blocks from ball park and Summit Misic Hall. Two blocks from Union Station so an easy trip on the train from the airport.

The room had a lack of storage space and very little if any space for clothes. NO hooks to hang anything. The HVAC system was so loud we ended up turning it off when in the room. I understand the look you're going for from a design side, but form and function need to work! This doesn't.

Lovely hotel in a lovely location. The hotel has a food hall with plenty of options for the family. Located across the street from McGregor square and Coors Filed.

Doesn’t feel like a generic chain corporate hotel. Friendly, relaxed, helpful staff. Variety of different places to eat and drink.

Stayed here for 2 nights during a work conference and had a short but fantastic experience here!
The location is excellent, close to the convention center (8 min drive) and many local bars and restaurants within walking distance.
Inside, The Maven feels like an escape from your typical beautifully-designed but sterile-feeling large chain hotels that I am accustomed to. I felt like I was walking into a modern art museum inside a cool and hip wooden lodge. I love the big metal airstream parked inside the lobby that serves up coffee and breakfast in the morning and churros in the afternoon. Guests get a token for a free drink at the hotel bar during happy hour. There’s interesting artwork everywhere to look at.

Shoutout to all the hotel staff including Vincent the manager and Peyton and Van the valets. I felt so welcome the entire time and I’m convinced I have to come back every time I pass through Denver from now on.
Highly recommend for any travelers in the area looking for a comfortable and engaging place to stay.

All the staff was AMAZING! Sydney & Alex at the front desk were not only friendly and upbeat but excellent resources for things to do, places to go and how to get around. I had a prescription emergency while there and they got me to a pharmacy and waited for me to get what i needed and got me reconnected with my group, so grateful for their help. This hotel is topnotch. The rooms are beautiful and clean, fantastic selection of food and drinks within the hotel. Great place, staff, location!

Amazing staff at the maven. Appreciated getting to know the city with the help of van and Michael. The guest car is a great amenity.

Awesome Stay! Spacious rooms, friendly staff, dining and bars conveniently located within the hotel. Great dining options within walking distance if you choose to go out. Hotel car that will drop you off anywhere within a 2 mile radius of the hotel. Also, you’re literally a 5 minute walk to Union Station!!

I had a fantastic time with my girlfriend. It was her 25th birthday. The staff treated us so well both Van and Jack provided excellent service with their valet. They were very prompt and on time with their arrival. Additionally, they were also very courteous and friendly, very professional individuals!

This hotel did not disappoint!! From the moment we walked in we truly felt taken care of. We came in early and they were able to accommodate an early check in which was great so it gave us some time to explore the city. My tip: enjoy every single one of the perks… free coffee every morning, the complimentary cocktails each day, the discounts at all of the eateries! Such a great variety. Another cannot miss feature is the car service. We scheduled it in our last day and the courtesy car brings you anywhere within a 2 mile radius. Jackson and Marcus were great! They dropped us off at 54thirty rooftop bar and picked us up at our dinner location back to our hotel. So convenient and easy! Will definitely be back at this hotel!

HVAC system was so loud that it shook the room every time it turned on leading to a restless night. Everything in the room felt cheap and dark.

Was told that someone would be at the front desk 24/7 and could provide a key card to access the gym since the mobile key could not. At 5am, no one at the front desk to be found. 5:15 still no one.

Location is great but nothing about the hotel itself would make me want to stay again
