Guests using a navigation system should enter Rüdesheim am Rhein as their destination. Once in Rüdesheim, guests should leave Rheinstrasse (B42) at the lower lane between Hotel Germania and Hotel Aumüller. This leads to Steingasse. Hotel guests are allowed to drive through the pedestrian zone.

Charmant hôtel au centre donnant sur la Drosselgasse
Pros:

Le personnel était très accueillant, petites coupes de crémant pour nous souhaiter la bienvenue ! La chambre était charmante, donnant sur les toits romantiques de Rüdesheim, l'hôtel est d'ailleurs très central avec un parking (borne de recharge pour les véhicules électriques). Le buffet de petit déjeuner était gourmand, délicieux, les oeufs faits à la minute selon les désirs du client. Compte tenu de la canicule, l'hôtel avait mis à notre disposition un très bon ventilateur !

Het bezoek aan deze accommodatie was voor de eerste keer, maar zeker niet de laatste keer!
Pros:

De ontvangst was vriendelijk en zeer gastvrij. (Bad) kamer was ruim van opzet met alle gemakken voorzien. Alleen was een airconditioning op zijn plaats geweest met deze tropische temperaturen. Als alternatief was er een ventilator aanwezig. Ontbijt was zeer smakelijk met veel variatie. Restaurant serveert heerlijke gerechten tegen een schappelijke prijs. Kortom een bezoek aan deze accommodatie was zeker de moeite waard.

Alles in Allem gut
Pros:

Frühstück wurde mit Liebe gemacht. Es war aalles, ja mehr da als man essen konnte.
Wir waren bereits öfter im Schloss und immer sehr zufrieden.
Leider waren die WE ausgebucht, aber auch von Di. bis Do. war was los.
Es gab nicht nur Wein, sondern auch das Bier war kalt.

Prima hotel in een omgeving van vergane glorie.
Pros:

Perfecte locatie in het mooiste gedeelte van deze plaats. Ruime, goed onderhouden en nette kamer met kastruimte en prettige verlichting. Schoon beddengoed en handdoeken.
Heerlijk ontbijt, met een glaasje voortreffelijke sekt, waarmee je ook bij aankomst vriendelijk verwelkomd wordt.

Cons:

Zoals zo vaak in Duitsland verstaat het hotel iets anders onder een groot tweepersoonsbed als dat dit platform je bij het boeken doet geloven; het blijken gewoon twee eenpersoonsbedden met enkele dekbedden te zijn.
Speciaal als gast die via dit platform boekt worden je parkeerkosten op eigen terrein van vijftien euro per dag in rekening gebracht.
In de zomer zijn de kamers (allemaal zonder airco) veel te heet om lekker te kunnen slapen. Met geopende ramen slapen betekent overlast door voortdurend geruis van één of ander groot apparaat onder het raam.
Het enkele stopcontact bij een kant van het bed is nodig voor het nachtlampje, dus breng een verdeeldoosje mee als je daar ook de telefoon wilt kunnen opladen.
Rüdesheim heeft zijn beste tijden wel gehad, lijkt het. Veel verouderde, niet onderhouden panden. En tot onze verbazing een spoorlijn en drukke straat ernaast die de stad van de rivier afsnijdt. Vergeet dus maar het flaneren of een leuke boulevard...
Tip: overweeg het plaatsje Eltville een klein eindje verderop, met het fantastische kasteel aan het water, de boulevard en verder de goed gepflegte uitstraling.
