Quality Inn & Suites Hammond Near I-8090

At check in the hotel said they didn’t have our reservation….not sure who’s fault this was but I had the confirmation # and email and paid through hotels.com. They then charged me $80 more for the only room left that we already had reserved. Hotels.com resolved the issue but we were pretty upset as we would’ve had no where to stay. The room was clean and nice but I wouldn’t stay again because of the experience.

This place was a wonderful, reasonably priced surprise! The property was very clean, both the air-conditioning and clock were working when we arrived, and the room was already comfortable, and did not have to be cooled down. The shower was easy to run and I always appreciate environmentally conscious places that do not use 100 plastic little bottles of soap, and shampoo. Best of all… The workout room was spotless, and all the machines actually worked! The cherry on top… Both check in and check out staff were lovely.

Bathroom wasn’t very clean. Only one large bath towel was available.

Room was okay, clean but well used. The bed was awful. Like sleeping on a rock. Woke up in so much pain. Not that I slept much because it was so uncomfortable.

Slight above average quality suite. Room service website does not adjust for holidays in which the service is closed

The property itself was nice just off the main road you'll have to pay attention following this road just need lights and signs

We stayed in room 109 for 2 nights. When we cgecked in there was a sigb that they were sold out, so we did bot ask for different room. It was very dirty, smelled like mold, and the hallway smelled like weed and cigarettes the whole time we were there.

On Friday bight there were people trying to break into cars in the parking lot. I caught them but could not reach any staff. I saw them when i pulled into the parking lot and watched them out the window after we got into the room.

Overall it was just a bad experience and we wont be back. We stayed here is February and everything was fine, but staffing/management/simething has changed.

Walked into the lobby and was hit with the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. Got into the elevator and the light was flickering and the doors banged and knocked hard to where we didnt feel great about riding the elevator. Came off the elevator and was hit with the overwhelming smell of smoked marijuana. Got into the room and it smelled moldy, laid in the bed and there were brown/red stains on the sheets and then on the towels. Scheduled three nights, stayed two and left having been refused a refund for the third night so we paid for double hotels on the third night on 8 rooms. Manager was rude and disrespectful and just wanted to argue. Stay away from this one

The room was what you would expect for that low price of $127. The desk chair and the cloth covered room chair were badly stained, could use a lot of cleanup. The desk chair was also broken, could not adjust its height. Room was slightly noisy because it faced the expressway. Outside grounds appeared to be well kept. Continental breakfast could have been better. Most of the food choices were pre-processed products like artificial eggs, cereal, and sausages. The front desk person was very professional and friendly.
