Very accessible to the town - really nice rooms had 2 queen beds and a lovely balcony

Didn’t need the staff much but they were always happy and friendly and room cleaned amazingly well after it got quite messy - thank you *pray*

Would recommend for staying in comfort and with good amenities close to centre of ao nang - lock it in!

The room was lovely and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is located on top of a hill but very close to all attractions in Al Nang. A lot of restaurants nearby. The pool was very lovely. The hallway smelled a bit musty but it was so humid in Ao Nang so likely the cause. The room was clean and nice.

Nice hotel within easy walk of Ao Nang beach. It’s on the main street leading to the beach so near lots of restaurants, bars and shops but still pretty quiet (even the rooms on the road). There are 2 nice pools and great views from the deluxe rooms in the main building. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are really good size and clean

Well equipped rooms with all you need, but a bit small. Our room had two double beds. We used one for our suitcases, but felt that one would suffice. The breakfasts can become monotonous after a day or three, but was not bad. Pool access rooms are great to have. The guests staying from floor two upwards also use the same pools as the pool access rooms, leaving you feel less private. One moron from the second floor kept throwing his dead cigarette butts into the pools. Disgusting!! Very friendly staff members. Our stay of 5 days were well enjoyed beside the one or two issues and we can still recommend.

Really nice staff and excellent service especially from ms nui who gave us a free room upgrade upon our arrival from Phuket.

Great service and really friendly staff especially Hunna made us feel very welcome. The room was ready before general check in time which was amazing as we could rest after our flight and go sightseeing straightaway. Very much recommended.

Very nice hotel, pool mountain view, good location and friendly staff especially Khun Sang, who greeted us with a big smile. At one point, she taught we were Thai, and we tried to speak the language and kind enough to speak slowly and clearly to be able to understand each other.

I highly recommend this hotel you’ve got everything you need, loads of restaurants, clinic, pharmacy and bars. Not to mention, the vibes are wholesome.

Hanna & Nui at reception were wonderful and so kinda, they helped me sort an issue I was having.

Great hotel highly recommend, everything is clean and modern, pool is wet and they have beautiful views. If you are in the area this is a great place for anyone.

Great location, pleasant and responsive staff, beautiful and easy to access pools from your door step

After a few days in Bangkok it was great to swop out walking boots for sandals. The hotel staff were very inviting when we arrived . The room and the view from it both had the "Wow!" factor. A massive bed , fantastic interior design and a massive balcony to admire the view of the cliffs and sea (in the distance) . The beach and town was close enough to walk to . Its downhill going but a bit of a trek walking back after an exhausting day, so we get a tut tut back. The dining area was really smart and the decor modern and interesting. Fantastic breakfast and a brilliant choice was on offer. Loved the cashews nuts. The pools were cool at first but warmed up during the day witht the sun shine.

For the price there are better options. It wasn’t bad but I didn’t like that it was spread out over 3 buildings

Great location, about a 13 minute walk to the beach, close to bars and restaurants but far enough away so it wasn’t noisy all day and night. Clean rooms, lots of storage space so your things aren’t laying around everywhere. Pillows were not the best, but they never are at hotels. We had a room with a pool walkout which was great for an afternoon or late night swim. Also, the view from our patio was pretty beautiful with the cliff in the background. Staff was friendly and always willing to help. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Sugar Marina Cliffhanger Krabi for our babymoon and had an extremely unpleasant experience that left us feeling unsafe, stressed, and completely let down. Despite clearly informing the hotel in advance that we were a pregnant couple celebrating a special occasion, not a single basic expectation was met.

From the moment we arrived, the lack of hospitality was glaring. There was no bellboy to assist us with our luggage—even though the entrance involved a slope that was particularly difficult to navigate while carrying bags. We had to manage everything ourselves with zero support from the hotel staff.

The property also felt completely unsafe. There was no visible security presence. On one of the nights, we were woken up around 3 AM by loud, aggressive neighbors who were banging doors and shouting. We felt extremely vulnerable and disturbed. We immediately tried to contact the reception, but no one answered the phone—multiple times. When we reported this the next morning, not only was the staff dismissive and rude, but instead of showing any empathy or taking responsibility, they had the audacity to ask us to check out, despite us being willing to pay extra for a late check-out to catch up on sleep.

The room itself was in poor condition. The charger sockets didn’t work, making it difficult to charge our phones or devices. The toilet seat was broken, which is unacceptable in any hotel, let alone one that claims to cater to tourists.

Throughout our stay, there was absolutely no assistance or sense of hospitality from the staff. Their behavior ranged from indifferent to downright unkind. For a property that markets itself as a holiday destination, it lacked every element of care, safety, and basic service.

We were hoping for a relaxing, memorable stay—but this experience was the complete opposite. I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel, especially for couples, families, or anyone expecting even the bare minimum in terms of service and safety. There are far better options in Krabi that actually care about their guests.

I loved this hotel, i was a bit worried before arriving as some of the reviews were not good but i can safely say i had a great experience here and would go back in the morning. We stayed here for two weeks and loved every minute of it. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were nice a spacious, we always got sunbeds by the pool and the staff so friendly and accommodating. Location was great as well, 10 minute walk from the beach.

Stay was good and comfortable. Room was clean and comfortable. It was inconvenient having to walk up to a lobby not in the building. Staff was helpful with contacting excursions regarding pick up. Maid service was honest as i left my wallet out by mistake and it was still there. It was a good central location. 15 min walk to beach. I would stay again.

Don’t let the small hill put you off, there are steps if you don’t fancy the steep slope
