Das Essen am Abend war unterer Durchschnitt. Personal freundlich, aber schlecht geschult. Es fehlt ein Manager.

An incredible mountain palace, with views that cannot be described!
Pros:

The location of this mountaintop palace can NOT be beat!!! An incredible jumping off point for hikers, bikers, climbers, extreme sports enthusiasts, and artists who want to capture the majesty of the Dolomites! Lots of choices for dining, a spa, and exquisite rooms with views you can't even describe! The staff is so kind and attentive as well, and the gift shop sells lovely reminders of your stay as well as last minute replacement items (a warm hat and hiking poles!)

Cons:

Nothing could be improved on! The staff was so accommodating, that when we got stuck on the mountain an extra half day due to a bicycle race and roads closed to vehicular traffic... they allowed us to pay a small fee and check out at 4pm. This gave us a whole unexpected day to hike trails that were virtually empty of tourists. What a treat to have a mountain to ourselves!
