We have come here once a year for many years and I’m sure we will be back
Pros:

A beautiful hotel with a wonderful atmosphere. The restaurant is great and it’s always welcoming.

Cons:

My only issues were the pillows and no room maintenance. My wife and I found the pillows to be very uncomfortable and we spent 3 nights there with no room maintenance. We had to call front desk just to get some clean towels.

Short comfortable visit
Pros:

The hotel is beautifully decorated, the bedrooms are roomy with comfortable beds and excellent toiletries. Restaurant staff are excellent.

Well manicured comfort.
Pros:

How well this historic building was put together to create a beautifully modern hotel.

Cons:

We were told we couldn’t sit in the lounge/restaurant area although there weren’t many people there. It was snowing, we loved the view. It would’ve been nice to have somewhere to just lounge around.

A cut above
Pros:

Beautiful 2017 reimagination of old firehouse. We had call 3Xs to another hotel, which had a block of rooms for the wedding we traveled for. Glad we found the Foundation. Easy check in, and out. Very good fitness room.. Thank you.

Cons:

Thought about $50 over priced.

It’s not your average hotel, it’s different and I love that. Super great lay out and everything

Cons:

Waiting for the day you guys give me one of those hoodie robes for free!! LOL , I’ve been there 3 or 4 times so far

Loved the location and it being an old fire station was definitely a new experience
Pros:

The old firehouse being turned into a hotel and was super close to the river

Cons:

Our room was very dusty and the couch had not been vacuumed or cleaned. The floor had dirt and dust bunnies

Pros:

We went for New Year's Eve. Great restaurant onsite. The hotel has a lot of charm and character. Ideal location in the heart of downtown, which is experiencing a true renaissance.

Tolle Location in einem alten Feuerwehrhaus; geräumige Zimmer mit begehbarer Dusche.

Cons:

Wir waren über Silvester dort, es war ok, aber den hohen Preis nicht wert.

Pros:

The Frette towels and LaLabo amenities were terrific. Room size was generous. Decor throughout the hotel was almosssttt there. Some areas were filled with character of the historic building but the hallways felt vacant and sterile. Robes are a great match to the hotel vibe.

Cons:

Reception staff wasn't as welcoming as I expected. They were professional and kind - just a bit reticent it seemed, to welcome and be confident in the great space they offer. No coffee or hot water maker in the room.

A+++ All the way
Pros:

The hotel is very cool. It's an old, abandoned firehouse that was renovated into a hotel. Rooms are very nice and spacious. Staff was great and location is very convenient. Restaurant within the hotel was also great. I would stay again.
