Pros:

東寺の真ん前で、部屋の窓からも見れたし屋上からの眺めが最高でした。
お風呂は広く、トイレは別で家にいるみたいでくつろぐことができました。

東寺が目の前で京都駅も近いし最高です！
Pros:

駐車場先着3台無料が良かったです。
駐車場の為にチェックインより少し早めに到着しましたが、スタッフの方皆さん快くお迎えしてくださいました。
お部屋は入った瞬間に木の香りがしました。
キッチン、トイレ、洗面台、お風呂全て別々で大きく清潔で使いやすかったです。

Cons:

壁が薄いかな？
外の音がかなり大きく聞こえます。
あとトイレがとても寒かった…

La vue magnifique. Bon emplacement. Personnel aimable. La décoration intérieure de l'hôtel et la chambre (magnifique) correspond à l'image qu'on ce fait de l'esthétique japonaise. Et la présence de la machine à laver et d'un manuel d'instruction est un gros point positif.

Lovely hotel near Tijo Temple
Pros:

I stayed here 2 years ago with my other daughter and loved the location to the temple and unexpected surprise of the first Sunday of the month market at the temple. So I booked again for this trip and the rooms and location were as lovely as ever. Washer/Dryer are such an added bonus.

Very nice Japanese themed hotel. Good location accessible to central Kyoto via a short subway ride.
Pros:

Superb service. Staff were very helpful, especially Fuji-san who went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and make us feel welcome.

Cons:

Breakfast was good but only served Japanese cuisine. It would have beem nice to have some tourist-friendly options, even if it was just toast and coffee.

Exceptional Hotel & Staff
Pros:

The Sunrise Hotel was beautiful and tranquil, blending traditional style with modern amenities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel looked even better in person than in the online photos. Our room was spacious for Japan and had windows facing Toji Temple, which was a great surprise. The hotel also provided bottle water for each guest everyday as well as new towels and garbage collection on days that room cleaning is not done.
The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Toji station. From Kyoto station, take the Kintetsu line (local) train to Toji station, then walk about three blocks to the hotel. We would definitely stay again next time we visit Kyoto.

Cons:

We enjoyed our stay, but it would have been nice to have some hooks for hanging reusable towels. Also, the TV did not support streaming Netflix or YouTube using our own accounts so instead we used our laptops and phones which was no biggie.

Pros:

Wir haben uns wie Zuhause gefühlt. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, das Bad sauber und mit allen wichtigen Sachen ausgestattet. Die Zimmer waren groß und gut eingerichtet. Von der Dachterrasse bis zur Rezeption hatte man schöne Außenbereiche, Terrassen und kleine Gärten, die man genießen konnte.
