Great hotel for short stay
Pros:

The hotel was very clean. The lady who runs the continental breakfast did a FANTASTIC job keeping the food and supplies full all the way up to 9 AM. They were accommodating on an easy room for my husband, who has a cane.

Cons:

I was checking in and there was NO ONE at the front desk. A sign and a blue phone were on the counter. Picked up phone because the sign said to. It rang and rang. No answer. So I sat down and waited maybe 5-10 minutes. Then a guy came through the front door. He was the staff. Not sure where he was, but he was not in a hurry. There should be someone at front desk at all times. Lacked customer service. He also was not at the desk later and I swear I saw him in his car. Also, $100 incidental fee to hold on your card seems excessive.

Pros:

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, the location was very convenient for the activities that we did around West Des Moines.
