The breakfast was well done and well cared for by the staff. I would have liked a waffle maker but that's just because I rarely get waffles. The staff was kind and well informed and we received some valuable sight seeing information while there!
We are very used to our own pillows and I prefer a feather pillow, so I didn't find the pillows as comfortable as I would have liked.

The manager and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home. Our kids love the indoor heated pool.

I want to start by clarifying a previous misunderstanding regarding my billing—everything was handled perfectly by the hotel and the charges were correct.
Our stay at The Lodge at Flat Rock was wonderful! The suite was incredibly clean and had a delicious, fresh scent that we loved. It was also very quiet, which made for a peaceful rest. The staff provides amazing attention and their hospitality is top-notch.
Regarding the price, it is within a fair range, although it could be slightly better considering the breakfast is quite basic and was a bit too heavy on oil for our taste. However, we used that as an excuse to visit nearby local spots, try new menus, and support the local community.
Overall, a beautiful place with marvelous service. Highly recommended!

Couldn't stay longer
Location, dog walking area in front, off the highway but not too close to main roads, decent breakfast, always nice reception. Love the large fridge and freezer as I bring my own food. Nice shopping and eating choices in town.
Garbage can under stove was not emptied from previous guests. I couldn’t wash a dish as there was no dish soap but I didn’t request any either.
