Lovely stay
Pros:

Very close to the hot spots of the city. I love that I can just walk around and not having to rely to Grab or my car. Unique stay for everyone that wishes to experience Peranakan style.

Cons:

Nothing. Can be noisy as the wood creek. But I can't be bothered.

Wonderful Malaysian hospitality in a beautiful old building still furnished in the old style.
Pros:

The hotel has amazing quirky decor and it felt almost like staying in a family home. There were so many reminders of its Peranakan past and some astonishing pieces of furniture, ceramics and pictures to admire. Friendly, attentive service and a super breakfast with an amazing range of Malaysian specialities were a real bonus. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean with plenty of hot water when needed. There was really useful information about local restaurants, and we even had help booking for our first evening when we weren't quite sure of ourselves. There is a small tea shop at the back of the hotel and we were able to buy some wonderful local decaffeinated tea which was delicious. There was generous provision of drinks and snacks in the room and a kettle.

Cons:

We had been warned that our room overlooked a busy street but I have to say we hadn't anticipated just how VERY noisy it was. It was a lovely room with beautiful furniture but we had to use both ear plugs and white noise playing on our phones to be able to sleep. I would suggest that those who are light sleepers opt for one of the rooms facing towards the back of the property.

Pros:

很有歷史感覺的旅館，但是環境與設備十分明亮感覺，各種擺飾裝飾與牆上藝術品看起來很古老確很精緻，著名的景點都在旅館附近，大部分走路就可以到了，十分便利。

Cons:

This hotel is one of the most unique, authentic experiences we've had on our travels.
Pros:

This hotel is one of the most unique places we have ever stayed! It is a building of such history and full of antiques and unique pieces. The staff are friendly are devoted to the history of Melaka. The breakfast was the most unique dining experiences we've ever had - be prepared to have your mind blown by the flavors and variety. The hostess was so enthusiastic about sharing her culture with us. The location is right in the heart of the historic city, walking distance from all the sites.

Nothing - we loved the experience that is this hotel.

A different type of hotel. Perhaps, hotel is not the right term to describe, museum is the right word. Highly recommended.

Cons:

The breakfast has good varieties, lots of traditional food. Again, something very different from a typical hotel. The only very minor thing I could critique for improvement, may be the fact that the food was a bit cold when served.

Non c’è un portiere di notte e pertanto non ha potuto intervenire nei confronti di ospiti molto rumorosi: infatti siamo stati molto disturbati dagli ospiti di una stanza contigua alla nostra che hanno fatto un rumore tremendo fino alle quattro del mattino. Abbiamo dovuto intervenire personalmente senza però riuscire a ottenere il silenzio. Questo ha guastato la nostra esperienza a Malacca
