Besides the mattress, this was a very nice place to stay with a friendly staff.
Pros:

The location was certainly located, able to walk around for shopping and site seeing. Quite, clean and very comfortable pool area and upper deck for breakfast.

Cons:

The hardest or firmest mattresses I have slept on.

Pros:

Le charme de l'hôtel avec ses patios et toutes ses plantes, la piscine. La chambre était confortable et très propre.

Cons:

L'isolation sonore. En effet les fenêtres donnent sur les patios et les extérieurs donc si un groupe s'installe sous votre fenêtre vous entendez toute leur conversation et inversement.

Quiet with a Picturesque Pool
Pros:

The pool was certainly appreciated and the location is great! Aside from occasional planes during the day it is very quiet here. I liked having 2 choices for breakfast. The bungalow room was perfect for us.

Cons:

The beds were too hard for my liking but I adjusted and slept well the second night.

Location and privacy

Cons:

Wi fi needs upgrading and TV needs updating channels, you get only like 10 channels. The few channels that you have are always loosing signal, so you watch episodes of a show, movie, or video. Breakfast was ok but needs more choices and protein

The bungalows are large, but some of the singular rolls are extremely small. For better or worse, it is a bit off the beaten path, but not much.

The hotel was nice and in a convenient location.
Pros:

The breakfasts were good and it was very convenient to have it available. The pool area was nice and very well cared for. It was a nice comfortable place to be on a warm afternoon.

Cons:

The room we booked and spent the first night in was really small and dark with no outside window. We asked if it was possible to move to a room overlooking the pool and fortunately, there was a larger room with an outside window. It was a bit more in price, but so well worth it. The staff was very accommodating.

Our room location. It was very dark and also not enough privacy. We were located at a high traffic area as you came to the pool

Charming old property
Pros:

The hotel was in a quiet location but close to the main attractions. The building was charming, really pretty with rooms set round a central courtyard. There was complimentary water, tea and coffee available throughout the day and until late evening. The swimming pool was a bonus after long days sightseeing.

Cons:

Oaxaca City is very cold once the sun sets and we were cold in bed, despite using the extra blanket.
