We stayed at the Friday Hotel several years ago too. It's an older hotel which is currently being renovated. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was good but very dated as well. There is also a small shopping mall in the same building with a grocery store on the ground floor. Conveniently located in downtown Uttaradit. The breakfast was less than average quality and they were very slow to provide 2 eggs with hot dogs. The price of 850 baht was more than what is now advertised on the internet.
Great downtown location with supermarket just downstairs and food stalls just right outside the door. The room is big and clean. The AC cooled well but can be a bit noisy. The simple breakfast buffet (rice soup and toast) was ok for the price paid. Good, strong coffee. I got a double room with one King-size bed. One side of the bed has worn out springs, but the other side is ok. But the most annoying thing about this place is that they play loud music early in the morning (start around 07.30 am) in the restaurant that can be heard into the rooms.

Just another large city-center budget hotel. A perfectly good choice for a night or two, but at a walk-in rate of 850 THB, it's hard to get excited about this property.
However, the somewhat dated room was large, comfortable, and clean. The hot water and air conditioning worked just fine. The room had a refrigerator, stocked with beer and softdrinks.
The hotel is conveniently located in the city center close to restaurants, shopping, etc. Plenty of parking for those of us who self drive.
Positive :Hotel close to the market and not far from train station ,When i was arrived at 10 am. they allowed to get early check-in ,Room service was very cheap and tasty .
Negative : There is no body know about detail when i ask about transportation to Laplae city .
In general a nice hotel but a little annoying that after checking in they then informed us their was no hot water available whilst upgrading was taking place. They also cancelled all entertainment without notice.
You may hear musics from the restaurant until late night
Shopping mall on ground floor. Great and convienent. Food store too
This old hotel just located at the central of Uttaradit surroundings by food strolls and small department store on the ground floor. The room is so old, a/c working but you cant adjust the temperature. Small bathroom with bathtub. Breakfast is not worth it, recommend to go out side the hotel and find something to eat instead.
It is non smoking but someone did smoke in the hotel.
Given that I paid 450 baht for a double room for the night this was outstanding value. Don’t be put off by the entrance on the ground floor of a rather dilapidated shopping mall, once inside and in the restaurant / lounge area on 3rd floor it is spacious and impressive with a lovely view of the city and good restaurant and pub/bar with live music. Breakfast was fine for what I had paid but only tea/coffee and toast + pork rice porridge - nothing else, but fine for the price I paid. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet.
However, at full price (about £70) this hotel would be way too expensive and definitely not worth the money.
My wife and I stopped 1 night in Uttaradit. We stayed at Friday hotel which offers at least 2 resturant’s a food court and a mall of clothing and shopping Center. The location was okay with stores and other locations to shop and get street food.
There is a coffee sitting area and a food/karaoke place in the hotel as well. The room is nice and daily clean. A bit dated and bathrooms showing it’s age. Bed was clean and comfortable.
Only real issue is a several small ants running around the room. How they made it to 7th floor. Unknown.
Free breakfast appears to consist of rice pork and toast with a coffee or tea.
A good hotel for options and amenities. Rooms need some tlc and breakfast could be a bit more options.
An older hotel in the middle of the city, for what you pay you get a lot, breakfast is quite basic. Service is always good and never a hassle, great comfortable bed and pillows.
This hotel is well kept and has more nearby amenities than any place you'll find in Uttaradit. The Friday Club entertainment and food is exceptional... it's sad that they're not more busy than they are, but the local economy is not exactly thriving and few people are coming out to listen to live bands and eat at a nice restaurant. Our stay was very nice and the management even provided free transportation to the train station for our return to Bangkok. It's nice to be able to go from the hotel to the mall without going outside and even enjoy a nice arcade for children. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Uttaradit.
Lovely place to stay.
Pretty good place to stay if you need to stay in Uttaradit. Across the street from the Main morning market, where you can get 20 baht coffee and some tasty local breakfast choices
