Pros:

Absolute shambles!! The food there is horrible to the point I actually got food poisoning. There is no relaxation as there are building work going on around the resort and its continuously interrupts your sleeping. Never coming back

Excellent weekend option for kolkata
Pros:

The property is very well maintained and the staff is courteous with eagerness to please.
The breakfast & dinner buffets was elaborate and very tasty.
The ala carte orders especially the tandoori kababs was simply awesome
Would like to return soon

Natural beauty around the property is good, it is peaceful but few basics they have missed for a family vacation with sr citizens 1. There should be a washroom in the gr floor to avoid 22 stairs to access toilets upstairs. very taxing for elders. Also moving around the property the access to golf cart is not seamless and easy.

Did not like food in Sonar tari and Indo China. Quite lousy.
Rooms were good. The ambience was good. Facilities were many for kids and adults.
Lovely for a short stay.
Staff were quite courteous.

Great hotel with a fantastic view of the river.
Pros:

We had a great stay at Ganga Kutir. The staff was really wonderful - very helpful and polite. The room we had was just excellent and it was right on the river and we enjoyed our stay looking at the peaceful serene view. Room service was excellent and they served us food in our room even though it was raining heavily and another day we had ordered very close to end of their service time but they were very accommodative. The food was good and they had a very wide breakfast choice.
We had left our laptop charger in our room by mistake but the hotel was very helpful in sending it to their Kolkata office so that we could collect it from there.
