Peace and comfort in heritage atmosphere
Pros:

Lovely heritage character. Superb and generous food

Cons:

Only small issue was shower floor needed resealing.

Pros:

Stunning Colonial house in the hills above the town but only a five minute walk away. Super staff who were attentive and efficient. The Galleon Suite is absolutely gorgeous. Saw most of the hotels in Galle and wouldn't have wanted to move from The Sun House. A quiet oasis of calm from the very busy and touristy fort and town

Fantastic and we didn’t want to leave!
Pros:

The property is absolutely beautiful, relaxing atmosphere and plenty of seating areas. The staff were exceptional and couldn’t do enough for us. Of particular mention was Priyantha, but all of the staff were a credit to the hotel.

Cons:

Nothing! It was perfect.

C’est un hôtel plein de charme, on se sent comme chez soi, le personnel est disponible.

Fabulous stay in a beautiful hotel
Pros:

We had the room with a balcony which overlooked a tropical paradise with monkeys swinging in the trees and birds singing! The pool was lovely - it was just us for a good few hours. The food was fantastic - amazing breakfasts - I had the shakshouka and my husband the Sri Lankan curry - both delish and large quantities. We ate there once in the evening - seared tuna a winner.

Water temperature was a bit hit and miss

A green oasis with wonderful food and marvellous staff
Pros:

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The food was excellent and we loved the hot butter cuttlefish. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of the township

Lovely colonial bungalow, beautifully preserved
Pros:

A beautiful colonial house in a peaceful location not far from Galle fort. A lovely garden and small pool and very charming house.

Cons:

Our room was off the entrance courtyard and had no outside space to sit. The pool area had only a few sun beds which were hotly sought after.

Fabulous boutique hotel a short walk out of town.
Pros:

Friendly staff, lovely bar and restaurant, excellent little pool. Room was super-comfortable.
