Wir verbrachten eine Nacht in The Sun House. Das ganze Haus und unser Zimmer waren unglaublich toll. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Vom Zimmer aus hatten wir eine faszinierende Aussicht ins Grüne und wir konnten von unserem Balkon aus Affen studieren (und sie uns). Auch das Essen (Frühstück sowie Abendessen) und das freundliche Personal waren aussergewöhnlich. Die Unterkunft hat seinen Preis, aber dafür ist es wohl eines der wenigen Hotels, die ich nie vergessen werde. Wären gerne länger geblieben.

The staff at Sun House were excellent in every way, making our stay a memorable one. They were attentive, helpful and when my partner was feeling unwell they showed real concern for his health. At all times they were discreet and sensitive to our needs . The building and facilities could not be faulted.

Wir haben ein gratis Upgrade bekommen, das Zimmer war wunderschön. Das ganze Personal war sehr nett, freundlich, aufmerksam und professionnel.
Das Essen war ebenfalls sehr gut.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Prachtig gerestaureerde koloniale villa op wandelafstand van het historische centrum. Lekker eten en uitstekende service. Regelden perfecte late check out voor onze nachtvlucht naar huis.

The staff were amazing, everyone at the property was so helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the turn down service was very nicely done. We ate breakfast and dinner here which were both very good. The house is beautiful and very well designed.

Un vrai havre de paix. Le Sun House est une ancienne maison coloniale magnifique, pleine de charme, avec une décoration soignée qui donne tout de suite envie de se poser. Notre chambre avait une superbe vue sur un jardin luxuriant très reposant.

Le personnel est aux petits soins, toujours attentif et discret. L’hôtel est très calme, loin de l’agitation, parfait pour se détendre. On recommande sans hésiter pour un séjour à Galle.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The hotel was very stylish and well-appointed. The restaurant was top-notch and could serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The common areas were simply amazing, and I took a dip in the pool.

Great location and wonderful old property

We loved everything about our stay at The Sun House. The location is perfect, central enough to explore Galle easily, but tucked away from the hustle and bustle.

The hotel itself is a beautiful colonial masterpiece, with so much character and every detail carefully considered. Our room was really comfortable, with a great sized bathroom, and the staff were attentive throughout our stay.

The food was also a highlight. Everything we ate was delicious, particularly the homemade granola and ice cream.

The property and the rooms were beautiful and the food was incredible. A lovely setting for evening cocktails and dinner. It was nice and quiet and just a 10 min walk into the fort area.

Le personnel est attentionné. Il y a un restaurant ce qui est un vrai plus et l’architecture est magnifique.
Après l’avion, nous sommes allés directement à Galle et nous ne pouvions pas rêver mieux comme hôtel.

The Sun House is an exquisitely preserved house from 1860, equipped with all the modern conveniences we could wish, while maintaining the original charm and structural details. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The food was excellent.
