Excellent stay, would return.
Pros:

Couldn’t fault it, just what we needed, decent bed and room was dark so good night sleep. Shower powerful and hot. Breakfast selection was good quality fresh items. Host was lovely and friendly and spoke good English.

Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt mit sehr bemühten Besitzern.
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb von Sarlat auf einer Anhöhe. Der Weg in die Stadt beträgt ungefähr 1,2 km - allerdings abwärts, d.h. der Rückweg ist recht steil. Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig, die Besitzer äußerst angenehm und bemüht, alles Wünsche zu erfüllen. Der Pool ist recht groß. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, allerdings mit 17 € im mttleren Preissegment.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber aber lediglich zweckmäßig. Es gibt Zimmer mit einem Außenzugang von der Terrasse und Zimmer, die man vom Flur aus betritt. Hier kommt es auf individuelle Vorlieben an.

Very neat and tidy and perfect location. Loved the pool and poolside drinks-Anne-Marie super efficient and brekkie delicious - especially the scrambled eggs made by her hubby.

Kleinschalig, fijn hotel

Kleinschalig, fijn hotel. Vanuit de kamer loop je naar buiten waar een eigen zitje is. De eigenaresse is ontzettend aardig en heel behulpzaam. De badkamer heeft een heerlijke ruime douche met een zitgedeelte. Snel warm water en een prima waterdruk. Het ontbijt was goed. Het zwembad is een enorme plus voor dit hotel. Parkeren kan op het terrein van de accommodatie. Bedden waren wat aan de kleine kant, maar wel gezellig zo.

Cons:

De ligging t.o.v. het centrum. Het hotel ligt op een heuvel. Dat had ik wel gelezen, maar jemig, die klim was echt heel steil. Zowel naar beneden (10 minuten naar het centrum), als naar boven (20 minuten als je de pas er een beetje inhoudt). Als je in gedachten houdt dat dit een goede workout is, dan houd je er nog een beetje een goed gevoel aan over. Maar voor oudere mensen, of slecht ter been zijnde personen: neem de auto. Helaas is er in het hoogseizoen weinig plek, daar moet je ook rekening mee houden.
