Staff, breakfast, style, location
Room is a little tired. Looks good in photos but ip close there are aspects that dont match up to the branding of a boutique hotel. Also, the air con didnt go below 20 which is pretty warm.
Bathroom very dark and needs updating
Good vibes, great staff as always
There's nothing to not like tbh.
Quality of our club room, excellent restaurant, car park on site and central location!
Nothing
Nice location, venue and room.
We were contact a number of times by the hotel giving good information about parking, checking in eg. We were also offered in the mail a 2 course for £35 deal. However, when at the hotel we’re told that there was no such deal. Even when we showed the staff the mails sent to us stating the deal!
Stayed there so many times !
Mattresses can be a little uncomfortable. Always emphasis you want a good mattress ahead of stay . The staff were fabulous the last time we stayed .
Mattresses can be a little ‘random’
The room was fantastic and one of the best beds I've slept on. Gregg the polish lad working the bar really made the trip. Fantastic service from him and a good conversation.
Room was a little unclean. Paint peeling and crumbling in the toilet, stain on one robe and little bits missed near the window.
Lightning was a little low but that might have just been je not knowing how to work the controls
Clean and presentable with on site parking
Room was far too small and poorly planned
Great location … walking distance to Cheltenham but in a quiet location
Nothing
good location
I was disappointed with the breakfast, I was pleased to see that the hotel cooked an individual breakfast which is in line with a premium brand like Malmaison. I order smoked salmon on scrambled eggs. the salmon was good but the eggs had been done in a microwave, so much so that there was very little flavour and you could still see the shape of h microwave bowl. There were only 3 people at breakfast. This was an opportunity to finish off a good experience but it was a disappointment , I left it and had some cereal
Well located. The club rooms are large.
It’s tired. The lights in my room were faulty. Doesn’t have the quality feel I’d associate with the Malmaison change. Fine for a night’s stay.
