Mövenpick Winter Park Baku

Thanks for the great hospitality and professionalism, we checked in and out 3 times in 8 days, and the experience every time was great.

Based on a friend's recommendation, I stayed at this hotel for the first time during my regular visits to Baku. I was thoroughly impressed. The customer service is excellent, and the pricing is very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. The team is quick to resolve any issues—they even provided a complimentary gesture for a minor hiccup. The location is perfect, very close to Nizami Street, and the breakfast offered excellent, quality food in a quiet setting. This hotel will definitely be my go-to accommodation for all future trips.

We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The room was quite big in size and was very comfortable. Nigar from customer service team was very welcoming.

We stayed at Movenpick Winter Park Baku during our one week trip to Azerbaijan which we undertook last week. I was travelling with my family, me, my wife and two kids. Our overall experience was awesome. What really made our stay really special was the exceptional support from the Guest Relationship Manager, Nigar. She went above and beyond her job and made sure that we were comportable and taken care of. She not only helped us by recommending great places to vist as well as restaurants, but also stayed in touch with us troughout our trip to ensure that we did not face any kind of issues during our stay in Azerbaijan. Her kindness and supporting nature really stood out and pleasantly surprised us.
The Hotel was really fantastic. Our room was spacious and comfortable, even while we were a family of four, the room still looked perfect for a family. The staff was overall very helpful and courteous. The restaurant was decent as it had a variety of options available in the buffet which worked well for both adults and kids.

One of the significant highlights of this hotel is its location. It is within walking distance of Central Boulevard and Nizami Street. This helped us in alot of ways as we were able to take strolls in the evening and also visit some local restaurants. To me, Movenpick Winter Park stands out because of its excellent location, comfortable rooms and helpful staff, especially the outstanding service provided by Nigar. We really had a memorable stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to families.

I love this hotel and stayed there a few times. Location is great, very clean, professional and friendly staff. Everything needed was in the room. Very good value for money. Breakfast is enjoyable, special thanks to the lovely lady, who cooks omelettes. Their restaurant is on the 15th floor with amazing views. Fully recommend.

The hotel was excellent, the rooms were spacious, and the 15th floor was great for breakfast and dinner, with drinks afterwards.

Worst Hospitality Experience

Extremely disappointing stay. I requested a simple HDMI help from reception, and the staff member responded very rudely, saying they can’t assist after 6 PM because the IT team isn’t available. When I mentioned that I expected better service after paying for a 5-star property, he replied, “You didn’t pay me, so don’t tell me all this.”

When I asked for an apology, he refused, walked away, and denied my request to speak to a manager at 9:30 PM. He told me to come the next day at 11 AM instead. Even after I informed him I was recording the incident, he said, “Do whatever you want, I won’t apologise.” When I asked for a refund to check out immediately, he told me to “go speak to the company.”

This level of behaviour from the staff in charge at night is unacceptable. Check-in hospitality was also poor, and the washroom had a bad smell. Overall, the experience felt like a 2-star hotel, not a premium property.

I do not recommend this hotel at all. There are far better options in Baku with much better service and professionalism.

Watch out for this receptionist, he might disrespect you or insult you!!

First of all, I wanted to mention the special personal attitude of Nigar, who took care of us personally when my wife and I arrived (first visit in Azerbaijan) at the hotel on 21.11.2025 in the morning for 4 nights, after a night flight from Tel-Aviv, Israel. With Nigar’s dedicated help, we were given a specious and clean room with a view of the city of Baku.
I also wanted to thank the reception staff, and especially Fatima, for her willingness to help wifh any question.
The breakfast on the 15th floor with a view of the city was rich.
The hotel’s location is excellent, very close to the city center, the old city and the pedestrian street with shops and restaurants.
In conclusion, we had a wonderful experience on our first (and not the last) visit to Baku and we will recommend friends in Israel and abroad and colleagues to come and visit Baku and stay at the Movenpick Winter Park Baku Hotel.

Checked in at the hotel in late night and the checkin was smoothly done by Erol and Ruslan.
Since we had no Mannat so we were given free breakfast for first day which was really thoughtful.
The room was very big and well organised, Isabella cleaned the room everyday and kept it tidy even after the kids made a mess of it everyday.
Front desk staff is extremely helpful. Thank you to asiya fatima kenan.
Check out was done quick and bellboy ruslan helped us with our locking of luggage and getting us in the cab.
A special thank you I would like to mention to Ms Nigar who was constantly in touch for any request during our stay as we celebrated a birthday and anniversary during the stay.
Hoping to come back sometime and stay again.

We had a great experience at the hotel. It is a great location - 5 mins walking distance to Nizami Street.

The guest relations lady Nigar Rzayeva-Fomicheva was extremely helpful and sweet. She helped plan our trip, make bookings and made sure we were comfortable.

Our stay at this hotel was great. We arrived at around 8 pm and were greeted with warmth. My Platinum membership with Accor was recognized. A few days before arrival I sent an email asking for a couple of favors. The hotel response met and exceeded my expectations.
A special mention goes to Nigar. She was attentive and proactive anticipating our needs and ensuring details.

We've used to live on 13th floor, the views were great. The restaurant located on the 15th floor also offered great food and excellent views.

Overall, this was a smooth experience. Next time in Baku we would consider staying at this place.
