I travelled with my mum and we enjoyed our stay very much. We will definitely return.
Pros:

Breakfast - lovely and catered for everyone. Staff very nice and friendly
Room Service - the staff who delivered our sandwiches to our room were lovely.

Cons:

Room 114 - The room up above had loose floorboards which creaked each time they were walked upon. Also, the heater in the bedroom dripped like a tap sound when heating up and cooling down so ended up switching it off.

Pros:

Breakfast was great, the coffee machine was a bit frustrating and slow but not a big deal. Bar, restaurant and function room were all very good. Very happy with my stay, would recommend.

Cons:

(1) Key card access consistently didn't work with one of our cards. Front desk told us to not put it near a cellphone (which we certainly know and were a little surprised they still used such old technology). Even after repeated requests to give us a new card, they just kept reprogramming the same card, which obviously had a defect!
(2) Front desk didn't inform us upon check-in about the free water station, which allowed guests to refill their own water bottles. We finally did hear about this station after 2 days' stay, and only when the bartender told us about it!
(3) Great food options in-house; however, the cafe/bar area near the front entrance was incredibly noisy/loud when the place was just 1/2 occupied. Installing some noise absorbers (perhaps in the high ceiling area?), would certainly help to lower the high noise level. We noticed groups of people sitting out in the foyer area of the hotel. At first we thought it was because the cafe/bar was completely full but it was the noisiness that forced people to sit outside of that area...

First class , would recommend and would be our first choice if we are back in Kilmarnock again.

Had no impact on me, but be aware hotel is literally right next to Kilmarnock FC stadium, so during and around home games the area will potentially be a bit noisy/busy/chaotic

Pros:

friendly staff, comfortable and clean and good selection of teas and coffee pods.

Cons:

staff in a rush to clear away breakfast when ot was a buffet for the hot food. Breakfast had been out for some time in the hot containers so not up to the usual expected standards of previous visits. May have been understaffed but they cleared away once all guests that were booked in for breakfast had appeared.and got their food.

Pros:

Bedrooms nice and comfy beds. Enough space to move around in (i'm disabled) and use mobility aids to get around, sometimes an electric wheelchair, sometimes a rollator, which i used this time.
I did have to go back down to the front desk, as i had put in for an accessible room. Room i was given was on the ground floor and near the front of the hotel, where everything was situated. Problem was, it was a shower over a very high bath. I went back and he quickly gave meanother room, on the same floor but a lot further away from everything. This makes a big difference to someone who's mobility disabled, like myself. It was still a shower over a bath but the bath was much lower and had rails etc i could hold onto to get into it, to shower etc. I asked if all rooms were like this and he said the hotel had 1 accessible room with a walk-in shower but it's on the 1st floor and the lift was out of order! That's just crazy!! ALL Accessible rooms in ANY hotel, should be on the ground floor and not have to depend on whether or not a lift is working! So wrong on so many accounts.
There was what looked like a wedding reception in the main restaurant, so it was out of bounds to everyone not involved in it. There was a smaller restaurant in the hotel but by the time i got settled into my room, refreshed and along to this place, all hot food was off the menu, including in the Desserts Section. I had been travelling half the day, from Sauchie in Clackmannanshire, to Kilmarnock and further West, to the hotel, by Public Transport and was really looking forward to a hot meal, after snacking on sandwiches etc all day, so was least pleased to not be able to get into 1 restaurant and only cold food in the other. It wasn't even that late and i didn't know if there was anywhere nearby. We weren't exactly on the main rd or near other places, other than the football ground.
All in all, pretty disappointed in the Park hotel.

An ideal stopover in a comfortable and relaxing hotel with excellent staff
Pros:

Ideal position on the outskirts of town. Relaxing bar area. Nice restaurant and food. Comfortable room.

Cons:

Only a very small point but would have preferred a room looking out onto football ground and surrounds rather than a small car park at the side.
