I have stayed here 4 times in the past so I had an idea of what to expect. However on this occasion after I booked the room on Booking. Com, I received a message later that evening advising breakfast will not be served this weekend, information that should have been available at the time of booking.
Secondly; I did not receive a message confirming my pin to unlock the key box on the wall outside the hotel for later arrivals. I rode a motorbike all day / night in a downpour of rain from Croatia through Italy, Austria into Germany and upon arriving I could not get into the hotel, I received no message and freezing cold, wet and tired at 11 pm I had to hunt for the hotels phone number, when I called the number the lady that answered informing me her husband was Coming with a key.. 20 minutes later and following 2 further calls he arrived and I wasted more time having to make payment that evening before i was given a room in a adjacent anex building - not the hotel.
This is not the experience anybody would like to have following an arduous motorcycle trip in bad weather over 850 km.. I will not stay here again..
The hotel wasn't busy, I fact maybe a room or 2, the owners should have followed procedere and left the key in the box with a pin to open it, his attitude during this scenario was as though I inconvenienced them.. No apology, neither an explination.. They awarded more energy into creati g a situation of inconvenience and chaos for my arrival.. Not acceptable at all!

I've stayed here on more than one occasion driving through to Croatia and back to the UK.. , it's easy to get to from the Autobahn, pleasent and helpful staff, clean rooms, good breakfast and parking availability...
Overall a very nice family run hotel...
