Smoking room next-door to the elevators (also next to the laundry room) so the constant smell of cigarettes was off putting

Pros:

Localização excelente, perto de restaurantes, lojas e metrô.
Quarto é pequeno como em todos hotéis que fiquei no Japão, mas em Kioto não se fica muito tempo no quarto pq a cidade é linda e tem muitos lugares para visitar.

So glad to have a laundry inside the hotel. (nb busy, get in asap if you need) .
Central location was excellent, easy to access subway and buses and powered bicycle hire. Many nearby "character" restaurants and cafes, as well as convenience stores and large high quality shopping,

Empfehlenswerte Unterkunft
Pros:

Sehr gute zentrale Lage, trotzdem sehr ruhig. Freundlich und zuvorkommendes Personal. Gute Verkehrsanbindung. Zimmer modern ausgestattet inkl. Schlafbekleidung.

Cons:

Zimmer sind sehr klein. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt muss man sich mit seinem Gepäck organisieren.

Not as good as expected
Pros:

The location is close to the market.

Cons:

We thought it was a Japanese managed hotel but actually it is not. So, it was not as clean as we expected and its supplies such as tea bags, body motion were short, toilet was not clean enough compared to other hotels. Even daily cleaning was not complete, used tea cup were not washed when we came back at nights.

Great location, modern yet compact rooms.
Pros:

Property was convenient to the train station and the more downtown area and the Market. It was great for walking in the evenings and finding food. The rooms are smaller, but had everything. It’s fairly modern and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.
