Wonderful stay! It was our 2nd time staying at the Kimpton Everly and we would stay again.
Pros:

Friendly staff, clean and modern feel, 7 min drive to Universal Studios. Jane Q restaurant was delicious! Yummy, healthy dishes with good sized portions. Alan served us all 3 mornings and he really made our day each morning! Exceptional customer service! He is very friendly & personable!

Cons:

This is barely worth mentioning, we had such a nice stay, but the bathroom did not have a vent and the bathroom door is a barn style slider with frosted glass, felt there could be a little more privacy in that design.

Very nice room and pool area. They had a DJ mid day which was nice…. Parking fee $75 for guest +$15 for a bigger car? So that was insane

Great stay
Pros:

Always love a stay at the Kimpton. Rooms are spacious and clean along with perfect service. So nice they have valet parking and complimentary coffee.

Stay here!
Pros:

This is a very nice hotel, with a lovely and accommodating lobby. The rooms are comfortable and roomy with great bathrooms. But the star of the hotel is the staff....always helpful, kind and smiling. And the star of the staff is Becca, who has gone out of her way to make my stay easy as possible. Highly recommended.

Convenient location, pleasant staff, mediocre room
Pros:

The location was close to the Greek Theatre, which was important for us. Every staff member was pleasant, polite and went above and beyond to help us.

Cons:

Bedding was lacking. It felt like we had only a flat sheet to cover us. It was not comfy and we were cold. The room itself looked clean, but my daughter's allergies flared up in the room. I'm not sure if it was the carpet, couch, dust mites, or all of it, but the room definitely triggered a pretty bad allergy attack for her. The refrigerator had a half drunk glass of wine, presumably from the previous guest. The bathroom was missing Kleenex (empty kleenex box). Also, the coffee/tea service in lobby was nice, but the hot water dispenser tasted like it had coffee in it previously, so it didn't taste good for making a cup of tea. Overall, more attention to detail is needed for guest experience. The lobby looks nice and staff were wonderful, but the rest of it was meh.

Very nice hotel - great bar/restaurant area
Pros:

Very nice hotel with nice sized rooms for 4 people and they were nice and clean.
The bar/restaurant/pool table area was a great place to have a good time.
Friendly staff as well.

Cons:

We had booked a room with good american breakfast for 4 persons. However the breakfast takes place in the restaurant and You have to pay for it, and the restaurant settles it with the hotel. But the amount set for the breakfast does not even cover a minimum of breakfast for 4 persons.
The manager kindly settled it for us, so we did not have any trouble.
Maybe it is better to book without breakfast and buy whatever You want from the restaurant afterwards.
But thanks to the maneger for settling it for us.

We found the location of the hotel to be at the far end of the Walk of Fame.

Attentive and great service
Pros:

Everyone who worked at the hotel was kind, helpful & attentive. Valets Brandon and Angel were friendly & professional. The bed for me was lacking. I would have liked an additional comforter or blanket. Otherwise, the room was clean and functional. The morning coffee/tea is a nice amenity, but please note the hot water carafe tasted like there had been coffee in it, so I ended up having to toss my tea out. Overall, excellent service with a need for a bit more attention to details.

The Kimptonis a nice hotel but they ream you regarding parking
Pros:

It’s walking distance to the Pantages

Cons:

$75 parking plus another $15 since I had dual cab pickup. Plus a $7.50 parking tax. $100 is ridiculous.
No coffee maker in the room
