Great place to stay near the airport
Pros:

My wife and I had a wonderful two nights at the Crowne Plaza Nairobi Airport Hotel. It started with them picking us up at the airport. We had to make a stop to arrange for phone service while in Kenya, but the shuttle team at the crowded airport was patient with us and made sure we got to the hotel safely.

The hotel was beautiful, the room was nice, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Every aspect of the service was excellent. We had our daily breakfasts in the dining room and the buffet had a wide range of foods to eat. The food was good and the staff was attentive. It made for a nice way to start the day.

The hotel was the perfect respite after a long flight and the beginning a two week safari in Kenya.

This hotel is perfect if you need to stay close to the airport.
Especially because the staff is so super friendly. Everybody is outstanding. Today I booked a treatment in the Spa. Sophia did an excellent job. She is great! Hope to be back soon.

Perfect stay!!

Great spa before long flight
Pros:

Nice place to get a day room before a long flight home. We enjoyed the spa. John was courteous and helped me enjoy the experience from when I walked in the door. Shower, steam sauna, and deep tissue massage were all great. The spa facilities are lux and clean.

Great way to spend layover in Nairobi comfortably
Pros:

This is a very comfortable hotel, you get bathrobes, gym, rooftop pool, whatever. They have an airport shuttle and everyone is very polite with guests. The interior decor is also very nice and classy. This makes a long trip to rural Kenyan locations with a long layover very much more comfortable.

Cons:

It's good you can get a very early breakfast before an early flight. I really appreciate the kitchen staff who must be cooking at 3 am or earlier. But other than that, the restaurant is not great and quite expensive at that. I'd rather have dinner in the city if I knew.
