We arrived with our 2 tired kids late and there was lots of confusion, which was made worse due to the language barrier. They had over booked and didnt have a room. In the end we were given a dirty room with only 3 beds which we had no option other than to take it, we had to get a flight in 6 hours and our kids were wrecked. The taxi spent an hour looking for the hotel that was only a 1 mile trip. Myself and my husband ended up with 2 hours sleep due to the noise coming from the staff in the reception, a tv blaring Indian music and them all shouting and banging doors, at 3am I had to get up and tell them to keep it down and close the door leading to the reception which i thought they could of done. We also had a fan in the bathroom that sounded like someone drilling all night. The toilet had wee on it and the room was dirty, all in all it was a pretty awful stay. I never ever give reviews, this is my first time as I'm never one to care much and dont compmain about anything, but this place was so bad I have to let others know, id think twice before booking
What review I should give. It was an embarrassing situation, as it took about 2 hours to find the hotel located at a poor location. Finally when we reached the hotel, the staff told there was no reservation in my name and I had to find out room in another hotel. Also, the hotel is not even 1 star category. I never expected such an irresponsible act from hotels.com. I was enroute to Kerala on an emergency leave to see my mother who was in ICU and I was made to roam around Mumbai to find another hotel. I am going to make a formal complaint to hotels.com for the embarrassment meted out to me.
Now the hotels.com owes me the advance taken for the booking and charges for the damage caused to me & my family.
