The room was functional but not outstanding. I would only return for the people.
Pros:

I arrived late and left early. The front desk staff was friendly and the bar staff made sure I had a great meal. The people were all fun and engaging.

Cons:

The room was not very clean and I found a bug in my bed.

I asked for room cleaning by cleaning staff and management. Instead of explaining the policy, they led me to believe they would clean and never did. We spent 4 to 5 hours waiting for cleaning that never came. Had we been told we could have spent the time in our room as my husband needed to complete work.

Great staff!!!
Pros:

I enjoyed a really great stay and the staff were great, especially Priscilla and Jaraj from the Bistro! Also, a co-worker of mine had left his airpod case the previous week and the staff had kept it stored and I was able to return it to him back at work! Clean, comfortable and great atmosphere! Definitely recommend 10/10!

My recent stay at the Marriott in Cypress was elevated from a standard hotel visit to a truly world-class experience, and that is entirely thanks to Bridget.
​From the moment I arrived, Bridget was
​amazingly attentive. She seemed to anticipate my needs before I even voiced them. It’s rare to find someone who pays such close attention to the "little things" that make a guest feel seen. No request was too big or too small. She handled everything with a level of efficiency and grace that made my stay completely stress-free. Her warmth is infectious. It didn't feel like "corporate hospitality"; it felt like a sincere welcome from someone who truly cares about her guests.

Because of Bridget’s exceptional service, this Marriott has officially become my go-to in the area. She has made this a repeat-worthy event, and I will definitely be back.

Pros:

Super cute rooms with a fabulous bistro with Starbucks coffee in the lobby.

Cons:

No water for the coffee makers in the room and not enough coffee. Also no safe to put my laptop in when I left the room.

Front desk staff was very nice and friendly.
Pros:

The hotel is in a pretty convenient area with an assortment of stores, restaurants, and businesses around. It is not very busy around the area and pretty quiet for the most part, even though we visited during a national youth baseball tournament. The service was adequate, and actually very accommodating which I think happens almost all the time if you treat the staff with respect and not look down your nose at them. Whatever service we requested, it was handled promptly including an incident where we reported an air conditioner problem in error. We didn't realize that the thing turned on from the actual box and not from the wall. Technician and I had a laugh about that.

Anyway, rooms were clean, did not have any bad odors. I have a preference for high floors. Our floor was quiet and remember this was during a huge youth baseball tournament. The pool was OK, I've experienced better, but the important thing is that it was well-maintained and clean. The bar in the lobby was actually cool as well, so if you and your group want to just sip and run your lips, that's a good spot as well. Not much to do for the kids, though. Workout room for the adults was adequate. Enough parking and it think it was complimentary but don't hold me to that. I don't remember exactly.

I'd return for a stay.
