We had a great stay at Tulia Botique. It was clean, tidy and very warm and helpful personell working there. We were also able to watch World Cup football match in the bar there. Thanks for a great stay!
I didn’t like anything about the property.
I booked a deluxe room but was checked into a standard room. There was no refrigerator as stated in room facilities. When I asked to be moved or pay the standard room fee I was told I would be charged $85USD for the room when I checked the rate for the room was $78USD. When I checked out I informed the manager I was not happy at their dishonesty and attempt to charge me more than the advertised rate and that I was not happy I didn’t get the room I booked. He continued to lie to me stating the room was deluxe and that he wasn’t aware the furniture had been taken out of the room. When I informed him that I had seen inside a deluxe room, he changed his narrative again. I ended up paying cash for the standard room, but the cost of the deluxe room was taken from my bank account several days after I had checked out. This is despite the booking being cancelled by the Tulia Boutique Hotel. Despite several efforts to get them to respond d to my question about stealing money from me they have not responded. Booking.com has not been helpful with this situation either. My advice DO NOT stay at Tula Boutique Hotel!
Freundlicher Empfang.
Will not go back there again. The approach to the hotel is through some bad roads. The rom was spacious but with bare necessities. The kettle is out on a tray which has the electrical cord. Have to move the whole tray to near an electrical point for use. Bathroom is patchy, broken tiles, shower cubical door doesn’t close properly. Bathroom door doesn’t close properly. Breakfast was basic buffet while dinner is à la carte. The chicken patty in the burger had bones in it and the bun wasn’t warmed. The Dal makhani was delicious.
None
Lindo hotel para estar de paso por Arusha!
El desayuno es muy escaso y malo! No tiene fruta prácticamente y ofrecen pocas cosas.
The chefs are very good . They cook the best dishes. It was very delicious.
Excellent customer service and smooth planning. Truly enjoyed every moment.
It’s a nice little retreat in the city and the whole staff is very friendly. Also the restaurant was really cool, it was open air
The road to the property is kind of rough, but the. You turn in to the hotel property and it’s great
If you’re staying in Arusha, I highly recommend Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa on White Road in Sakina (not to be confused with the other Tulia property).
From the moment we arrived, the staff stood out for their kindness and attentiveness. Whether it was the front desk, the restaurant staff, or Shose—who took such great care of our room—everyone went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. It never felt forced; just genuine, thoughtful hospitality at every turn.
The road leading up to the hotel is a bit bumpy, but once you pass through the gate, Tulia feels like a true oasis—peaceful, welcoming, and a perfect place to relax.
I am a little skeptical as to reviewing this hotel. basically the entry to this hotel was through a very rough road and had lots of local stalls etc to pass through before we get to the hotel. I felt a little unsafe though after entering the gates and grounds of the hotel you will be transformed to peace and tranquility.
Reception was nice and luxurious feel and kind enough
Hotel rooms were huge though a little bare and with the bare minimum of just bed, table, and a clothes hanger.
Bathroom was patchy and not up to standard but clean enough.
Food was average. nothing much to boast.
I am not sure if I would come back to this hotel but for 1 night stay I think it was good enough.
This accommodation is comfortable. You will need transport to get anywhere from there, you can walk but the roads around are not very walking friendly, at least during rainy season. But if your stay is short and you have pick ups and drop offs it is very good and recommendable. Breakfast is good and if you don't have time to have it there, the friendly staff can give you a breakfast box o bring with you. There is also a restaurant on site, the food is ok.
Hotel overcharged us for the airport transfer. They claimed the credit will be issued on the next business day since we stayed there during the weekend. I contacted the hotel numerous times to get this resolved without any success. It’s shameful and I wouldn’t advise staying at this property.
Nettes Hotel für eine Nacht.
Staff was most welcoming, cf earlier stays at Tulia.
