Shower not possible to stand up in properly! Room dated and not clean

Friendly and warm welcome on arrival and at breakfast. Cooked breakfast was nice.
Slept badly as there was a lot of noise around the room, creaky floor boards from people walking by (even at 1am), and from above. The shower took a long time to warm up in the morning. Left feeling exhausted rather than refreshed.
Great car parking
Lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly, Breakfast included and good. Evening meal in the restaurant was great and really convenient after a day's sightseeing. Nice walk into the centre but also a bus stop just outside.
Shower was not too good, not very strong and very small space.
Staff friendly and helpful. Room was ok - a little dated but bedding and towels were lovely. Lovely selection for breakfast.
Restaurant food was lovely - would highly recommend having dinner there.
Free parking. Took us about 30/40 mins to walk into the centre but uber's were cheap and it was also on a bus route.
The bed was awful - was sunk in the middle. We didn't get back to our room until very late or we would've said something earlier. The extractor fan from the kitchen downstairs could be heard in our room so we were woken up early.
The room was spotless and quiet. Everything worked.

Not sure whether bathroom floor had been hoovered properly as there were residual leftovers from predecessors of from cleaning staff. Not s major thing, yet I would not really expect that.
Location
I stayed at this hotel in 2019 before lockdown, so I chose it again because I remembered it was lovely. It’s a hotel that’s been run by the same family for years and years and what a lovely family they are, two brothers and a sister. They couldn’t have been kinder to me, everything I asked was seen to, plus Maria, the sister, was so helpful in terms of how to get to various places I wanted to visit, what to look out for, what places were must-sees. I had some lovely chats with her too, she is super friendly.
The room was small but totally adequate for me on my own. The bed was very comfortable, breakfast was nice, the bathroom had everything needed. The hotel is on a main bus route into Cambridge which was super convenient and was also really convenient for Grantchester which is a mere couple of miles away. Finally, it has a spacious car park. Thank you so much to the whole family x
I can’t say I disliked anything, although the wifi was a bit temperamental but that wasn’t a game changer in any way.
Always welcoming and comfortable
No dislikes but would love to have bigger cups for tea and coffee facilities in the rooms
