La calidad en general no corresponde con el precio pagado.
Pros:

El edificio tiene encanto histórico. El desayuno es bueno. El personal es muy agradable y ayuda. La climatización de la habitación funciona muy bien. La cafetería no la probamos pero tenía todo una pinta increíble.

Cons:

La limpieza no es buena. Las almohadas huelen a grasa de pelo. El inodoro no estaba limpio, le hace falta un buen repaso. La puerta del baño no cierra. Una sola percha para poner ropa. El colchón era malo o no estaba en buenas condiciones.
Las tazas del desayuno tienen que limpiarse bien porque tenían suciedad incrustada de no haberse lavado correctamente. Una pena estropear un desayuno bueno.

Cons:

部屋に入った瞬間、蚊が２匹いた。電気式の蚊取り器が置いてあるが全然効いてなかった。
シャワールームの扉が閉まりきらなかった。
テレビのチャンネル数は20chくらいあったが、ほとんどまともに映らなかった。

Comfortable stay!
Pros:

Room and bed were comfortable. The balcony rooms are road facing, and at times a little loud, but the balcony was nice to have.

Cons:

The breakfast is mediocre, but the bar was nice. There is an attached cafe that looked good- next time I will book without breakfast and just go to the cafe. The lobby smelled terribly of mold, but the room did not.

Convenient location, as the hotel is very close to the city centre.

Cons:

My experience was disappointing from the first day due to problems with the Wi-Fi.

The Wi-Fi in my room was not working properly, and it took the staff more than three hours to address the issue. Eventually, they identified it as a network problem and provided me with a separate router. During this entire process, I had to remain in the room while they used my laptop to troubleshoot the connection, which disrupted my plans for the day.

What was particularly disappointing was that I was not offered a different room while the issue was being investigated. Guests should not have to spend several hours dealing with basic technical problems that should ideally be checked before a room is allocated.

I have stayed in hotels in many countries and have rarely experienced this level of inconvenience over something as basic as Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

A conveniently located property with character
Pros:

The location is very convenient. The rooms had facilities like a good shower, coffee and tea, tooth brush etc The reception bar and restaurant are renovated and tried to keep the old style. The staff were all very kind and helpful

Pros:

It was in the center of Colombo. We loved the balcony. The takeaway breakfast we asked for was sumptuous and delicious.

Cons:

The hotel seems past is heyday- everything is used and old. It id high time for a re-design & renewal.

Pros:

Отель бронировал для отдыха после длительного перелета. Номер на троих. Такси взяли в аэропорту, водитель легко нашел отель, быстро оформили проживание, однако попросили паспорта всех гостей. Отель имеет красивый фасад и легко заметен с улицы. Внутри также красиво и чисто. Номер маловат, однако все необходимое есть: вода, чай/кофе, комплекты для бритья, зубов, шапочки для купания. Оборудован кондиционером, вентилятором. В номере был выход на просторный балкон. Минус: уплотнительная резинка на двери в душ было наклеена наоборот, что не позволяло закрыть дверь плотно. В остальном все хорошо.
