This hotel transfer was very scary and I was afraid for my safety.
I needed to get to the airport in the middle of the night, alone. Naturally, I decided to order a transfer with the hotel, and I did it 2 days in advance. In the evening before the flight, I went to double-check it with the receptionist, and he told me there's no mention of my transfer—no reservation, no agreement, nothing. But luckily, he can organize it for me!
He called some people several times, and I ended up paying for the transfer. He gave me the name of the person and even the car plates. He acted a little bit strange, but anyways.
When the time came,a completely different person with a different car was waiting for me. They basically tried to push me in the car, I started being really worried so they called the receptionist, who ensured me that he knew that driver and I could trust him. Okay, so it's a 2-door car, and I had to sit right next to him. And the driver started asking me questions with google translation, sometimes those were random questions, sometimes not really. For example, he asked me how old I am and then stated that "it's strange that such a beautiful girl is alone". I told him that I'm not alone and I'm married.
Then he asked me if I wanted to spend some time before the flight. He asked me that twice, even though I obviously declined the first time.
Can you imagine how uncomfortable and scary it gets when you're alone in some random car with a man who pushes you to "spend some time together" and you can't go anywhere and it's 4 am? Interestingly, he mentioned that he's a lawyer. Twice. Was it supposed to intimidate me?
I ordered a transfer specifically to avoid situations like that, but you can't trust this hotel's reception!
It is good value for the money. Food was good, and definitely plenty. There was some animation, during the day and night. Most staff speak German.
It is very far from airport and the transfer took me longer (3,5 hours) than the flight from Europe!
Hotel is old, so you will see signs of it on sun beds, in the furniture, but probably worst of all in the bathroom.
Staff doesn't speak English and is frankly not too kind to others than German, unless you give good tips. All inclusive where for service you are expected to give tips - a bit looses the point, imho.
Changing beach towels costs 1 euro/change. There is a lot of smoking people everywhere, some would smoke in the middle of dinner/lunch/breakfast on the terrace while you eat. And lastly to the hotel, please buy some bedsheets, it is not nice to sleep under cover alone, that is not clear how often it's being washed.
This hotel is so lovely! I had spent a great time there. Will come for a next time! Thank you!
Nice hotel with an easy access to the beach, great food and fun activities. It has both pier and sand beach, making it possible to enjoy the sea for people with different swimming skills.
Rooms and some other areas of the hotel need renovation. I won't say it's too bad, but normally you don't want to see that a towel hanger can fall out from the attachment in the wall.
Staff is friendly and helpful, but their English can be improved. It's fine for waiters and cleaners, but I've had unnecessarily long conversations with a person on reception for a very simple questions (like late checkout or getting lunch boxes).
Very well-run hotel, excellent food, big variety of alcohol drinks, kitchen is much better than in some of 5-star hotels, friendly staff, good cleaning.
Sea floor has a lot of sharp stones, beach is alright for adults, but not suitable for children and old people. You can walk a few meters to the right for a sandy beach though.
