The Tree House Boutique Hotel

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like we were at home. The staff all introduced themselves and since it's a boutique hotel, it was easy to remember them all. Our room was amazing with a spectacular view of the water front, the arena and the ocean. Absolutely beautiful. Our stay included breakfast and whether your to the continental route (pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh bread with all the toppings) or ordered off the traditional cooked breakfast options - it was absolutely delicious. The hands-down best Eggs Benedict I've ever had...it's all in the hollandaise sauce and I could have drank that by the gallon.

Huge thank you to Sheila and Elton - the two best managers around and all their staff, who are clearly hired based on their exceptional customer service skills. Highly recommend this boutique hotel for you home away from home!

Nice boutique hotel

We were checked-in upon our early evening arrival, shown what’s available in their lobby, including wine, & the breakfast area by Ms. Sheila. She offered us complimentary cake🍰 “made with love and passion”😊 then brought us to our room & showed us where things are as well as explained the bucket in the shower.

Ms. Zukiswa, Ms. Melody & Ms. Amahle served us coffee, delicious hot chocolate, flaky croissants, “crumple” pancake, omelette for their complimentary breakfast. They also have cheeses, cold cuts, pastry, yogurt, cereals.

Their rooms are clean & comfortable with bathrobes, slippers, coffee, tea, bottled water & a balcony with chairs.
Our choices for lunch were nicely presented, tasted good, right-portioned & reasonably priced

Our housekeeper changed our towels, made up & turned down our bed & placed towels & our slippers on both sides of our bed😊.

Mr. Elton shared useful information about our safety in CT, transportation & concierge services that they provide & answered our questions.

They are all guests’ comfort-oriented!

Every staff member was extremely attentive. The facility is very clean, the bed comfortable. Instructions for use of a/c/heat remote would be nice. Free breakfast was great with plenty of options. Never had time for their in-house spa but you should try it. I used hotel-arranged transport and Uber. Uber was always just minutes away and probably cheaper. This location is highly recommended.

The hotel and the staff were excellent. They had everything sorted and it made for an amazing experience. It was exactly what we were looking for something small and boutique away from the big chains. Breakfast was amazing and the cake of the day was always an exciting treat once back at the hotel. The driver was so courteous and ensured we got everywhere we needed safely and also took us back. Highly recommended

This hotel is truly a gem—perfectly located close enough to Green Point Stadium for convenience, yet far enough to avoid the chaos. The hotel and its staff exceeded all my expectations: helpful, friendly, and efficient. The driving services were an added bonus, and the kindness of the driver made a real difference. I will forever be grateful for making it possible for my family to attend the Springbok vs. Australia game. It gave my son so much confidence knowing you were nearby. I highly recommend this hotel and its wonderful team.

It was a very cozy, clean, and family-oriented hotel.
It is small, which makes you feel very connected to the staff and your personal needs.
Delicious breakfast, with friendly and welcoming staff.
Rooms are clean and bright.
The location is very convenient—within walking distance of a shopping mall, a nice beauty salon, and coffee places.
It is also easy to reach by taxi.
There is an option for a spa.
Every day at 5 p.m., they offer a complimentary small snack with tea or coffee.

We have just finished our stay and loved every moment. Good clean and relatively large room, lovely casual breakfast and most importantly wonderful friendly staff. We would like to make particular mention of the staff at Treehouse, who made our stay most memorable. Special call out to Melody, Sheila, Elton and the Chef (sorry didn’t catch his name) for looking after us.

We had a wonderful stay and the rooms were very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and looked after us so well. We had an amazing breakfast every morning.

Lovely place! The staff there is wonderful. Elton was so personable and was always there with a smile. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was very good! It is close to all of the sites and the waterfront area of Cape Town but is in a nice, quiet location. Not touristy like the Waterfront. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great hotel with fantastic service and food. Situated on a quite side street but only 10 mins walk from the V&A Waterfront the hotel has an ideal location. There are also places to eat just at the bottom of the road if you don't want to walk too far. The rooms are clean and well quipped and there is even a small swimming unheated pool for Summer days. We did bed and breakfast and the food was very good. Excellent continental selection with some lovely fresh pastries and selection of fresh fruits. You could also have a hot breakfast if you wanted and everything we tried off this menu was also extremely good. The staff were all friendly and very helpful and they had their own secure parking which was a plus. All in all a wonderful stay.

We had a really exceptional stay at Tree House Boutique for a few nights of our honeymoon. Elton, Shelia and the team are really fantastic and create such a welcoming atmosphere which made our stay here so memorable.

The rooms are very well looked after and of a great size. The hotel is also in a great location - walking distance to the V&A and the Cape Town CBD including Bo-Kaap. Green Point also has lots to offer in terms of bars and restaurants; a great spot!

We also really appreciated having bookable (at very reasonable prices), comfortable, transport available with Peter who was just superb and always available to drop us off or pick us up from our restaurant reservations or trips.

I stayed at this hotel after a disappointing experience at the Commodore Hotel, and the difference was staggering. From the moment I arrived, I was met with exceptional attention to detail and genuinely warm, friendly service from the entire team.

Every part of my stay was thoughtfully taken care of—from the immaculate room to the little personalized touches that made me feel truly welcomed. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and happy throughout my stay.

If you’re looking for a hotel that treats guests with care and professionalism, this is the place. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

This hotel has a convenient location and starts each day off with a deliciosos included breakfast so you can explore Cape on a full stomach for the day. Elton and the staff were very helpful and kind to us to make our trip fun.

This was a little piece of paradise. Was it different than anything we’ve stayed in before - YES! This hotel took care of our every need. A dinner recommendation - done and they took us there! Reservations to attractions - taken care of! The staff here greeted us cheerfully every morning at breakfast and when we came back in the evenings. Would highly recommend for anyone staying in Cape Town.

However some negative feedback. The hotel is part of the Living Journey Collection. They also offer tours We booked the Peninsula tour. Be careful in booking as they do not clearly indicate that there are additional entry fees and tolls not included in the quoted price. Our additional costs added up to some 40% extra. They also indicated that lunch was included. It was not

We never go to Cape Town without treating ourselves by going back to the Treehouse, our favourite hotel! It had been a while this time, and we were sorry to miss Elton, but Sheila and the rest of the team were fantastic, as always. Thanks for a lovely weekend!
